If one listens to the weather forecast or this weekend to the news one will get confirmation that the Sun goes round the Earth as they will mention Sun Rise and Sun Set.

Just a few fact that show the stupidity of believing in a flatearth.

John. While I feel the earth is a roundish shape I dont believe you comprehend the theory of the earth being flat in context. The flat earth theory does not mean flat and rectangular like a football pitch. This won't work at all from what we see in real life. Who would believe that? No, the theory is a lot more comprehensive then that.
Also, do not assume that all those who believe in a still earth (Not spinning... Or almost not spinning) will also believe that the earth is flat (Flatish). They are totally different theories. Yes, some believe in both a still earth and a flat earth, but many of us do not. One thing I will say is that the spinning earth theory does not fully add up the way scientists in general are trying to teach when we actually look up and try to fathom what is happening by our own experiences and what we see with our own senses (Sight, feeling and  movement etc).  What we do know by measuring the earth and calculating from that, the speed difference, that there is a speed difference of a small amount over 1000mph at the centre of the earth.
Now if I had a very large flat disc and I sat right at the centre I would feel no force if the disc span at speed. The further I moved from the centre position the more my hair would start to blow about and the more force I'd feel which would be trying to send me further out from the centre, and the further out I got, the more force I would feel. Yet this is not happening on earth, so a spinning earth is not making sense. Clearly something else is taking place here. So what is actually taking place? There is some force which pushes us back towards the ground. Just jump off something tall and you will know this force exists! Yet if the spinning earth causes the gravitational effect, then how is it that at the north and south poles where the effect would not be present... How is it that at the poles we are not sucked off the earth should we go there? So a rotating earth is a good theory, but it does not explain what it taking place.

MG,
If you chose to believe what atheist and evolutionists believe that is up to you.
Science, something that depends on a Christian world view shows that the earh is round, not flat.

Your own illistration of a spinning sisk only makes sence if the world is round. A flat disk spinning on its own would not turn to face the sun, unless like astologers , you also believe that the sun orbits the eath.

Problem of the horizon, why is it that object disappear the further away from them you are? On a flat world that would not happen, but it would on a round one.

Why is noon at different times around the world? On a flat earth it would be noon at the same time, yet navigation science shows that local noon is different all around the worls.

John. Why have you got it into your head that I believe the earth is flat? I believe the earth is relatively still, but I've never said that I believe that it is flat. I certainly mentioned the theories out there about a flat earth to correct you on certain points of belief as your concept on what flat earthers believe was way off track to what most of them actually believe, and that is why I wrote my last post.
I dont have to believe the earth is flat to believe that the earth is relatively still and all else rotates around it. There are people in both beliefs (Flat and round like a disk or Round like a ball) that believe the earth is relatively still and everything revolves around it.
