Remember ... Verbal words words only give what they want others to hear and the listener only hears what they want to hear.

Step outside of this and see that God hears your heart and is speaking to you now [non verbal]

Verbal utterance is only scraping the surface of communication - you know it is deeper than this.

i try every day to get way from my old life and ways  cant under stand why i find it hard to pray  i want be good christian  but keep slipping away  can any one tell me why i find it hard to pray  dont make any sence  how i can preach to others about god how good he his wat he dose for us ect   but find it hard to follow god myself  and very hard to pray  hope some one came help  with this thankyou
'Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts
knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
because He maketh intercession for the saints
according to the will of God.'

(Rom 8:26)

Hello @john1952,

We have all been where you are.  You are not alone.  :D

Just let go and let God, John.  You are His workmanship.  He will rescue, He will save, and that to the uttermost. Read God's Word, and wait on Him. Do not struggle or strive in any area of your life, just trust and do not be afraid.  Start giving thanks, and praise God, in your spirit.  That does not require verbal communication, it is of the heart.

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.'

(Col 3:16)

* You need to get some spiritual 'food' inside yourself, and drink long and deep on the love of God, in Christ Jesus, and give thanks in all things.

In Christ Jesus
