Certainly not! Where did that idea come from?

There may well be a few such churches set up by individuals who have been excluded from mainstream churches - but I'm sure they must be a small minority. I know a couple who are trying to start a non-denominational church in a nearby community centre. They are members in good standing with my own church and have the blessing of the local Anglican church.
