What about the past? The flood. Sodom and Gomorrah. Many other past judgements were many were killed of placed into slavery.
Look what God has said about the future judgements to come. Daniel. Revelation. Think God only judges in the past and in the future? Look at history. God has destroyed whole nations. God has raised others. Why? Because He is God and He searches hearts and minds.

Hello @Swollow,

We are living in an age of grace though, aren't we? God is not dealing with mankind according to what their sins deserve, as He did in times past, or as He will when this age of grace is passed.

I believe that the warnings given, of geological and climatic changes and their resulting catastrophic events, by our Lord Himself, along with warnings of the increase in warring between nations, and it's effect of famine and disease, are simply warnings given prophetically by the One Who knows the end from the beginning (eg., Matt.24).  They are not judgements .

Are we living in those times prophesied?  I believe we may well be.

In Christ Jesus

It seems to me that God by His Holy Spirit is withdrawing away because as godlessness increases the Holy Spirit is being quenched.
Which results in a loss of protection in the world, towards the just and unjust alike.
Some of the recent natural disasters were terrifying, with more plausible  warning sounds.
Many are rethinking about buildings that withstand them but sadly they are now probably just a foretaste to how they will be in revelations.
On a positive note, many are praying and turning to God who created us.
