Indeed following this concept [of I have the power to decide above God] I would assume now - that God decides who is born and who is not.....
I just cannot fathom how your mind works Q. The above statement is an oxymoron! It completely contradicts itself.
Quote
As this is not in our hands or theirs - but God's

If I am now born, be it with a defect, then  I must now assume it was my fault and not God's

Hope you get this argument ?

As if I am born yet born again [this has no refercne to me but God and His Will !

Now if I am born and alive but with a disabilty this is either God or me or satan.

You see the response to God will always fail at some point [unless of course you are going to say that the spirits have communication with God and can be saved or born again - due to their response]

Response giving someone a "born again" or temporal salvation state will faill at some point also - as it will rely on us and not God [I am purposely responding in an alternative view to cause an argument - which to some is a day by day experience]

Nothing is impossible for God and only He can save or make someone a child [once a child their desicions change His Mind ? ]

Now we are arguing the "once saved always saved theatre scenario"

I hope you get this post [if the plaster comes off the wall it is due to using a steam machine ...always use water and a scraper [just a tip] and let the water do the job.
Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)

So I am firing  different  arguments at you [whether you understand these arguments may only be due to your experience]

This has no reflecton on my own belief - but merely purging a response.   :)

Now come on [why are'nt you responding at 1.30am in the morning  ? is'nt your brain able to work at this time ?] "Goes back  to knitting  knit:"

Haha,
Why am I not answering at 1.30am?
Ps127v2It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
You asked for that one Q, did you not?

Actually, I am a late bird, but not too often these days.

Neither of us actually know how God deals with infants in the womb. I believe that the Lord is gracious and just in every possible way, and wants no one to perish.
Therefore he will not reject anyone who cannot respond because of some disability or other.
However I am adamant that being open hearted to the Lord is far easier for children and only gets harder as we grow up.

Scriptural evidence shows that babes in the womb can witness spiritual things that adults cannot.
From end to end of the bible, scriptural evidence shows God demanding that man makes his own decisions for life.

Putting those two together takes me to the points that I have been arguing. However as stated at the beginning, we don't know exactly how God relates to foetuses.
Well thats it you see we will never be able to fathom the depths  God

The unwritten word..

In my belief, once we are reborn of the Holy Spirit, we are a child of God for better or worse for eternity.

In sickness and in health, forsaking all others - here "love and obey" may well be replaced with "love and be faithfull" - or "love and to cherish"

Now we cherish God or are faithful to Him - according to our wishes.

But we are stil married to Him [even if we divorce Him]

Now we cannot marry again [according to the written word]

As if we remarry we are commiting adultery.

As none of us could ever love the Lord God with all our hearts [as we will fall short]  Luke 10:27 - Deuteronomy 6:5 ,

It would seem that we are all adulterers and our future can only depend on God

Unless we are a child like the prodigal son and we have periods in our life's when we walk away and other times when we "do God's Will"

Either way we are still born of God [born again]

This is because Jesus takes our place [Substitutionary Atonement], 2 Corinthians 5:21 .

If Jesus has taken our place - then what place have we to earn anything, by response or communication ?

Being that I and you never earnt our experience [before we knew God]

Eg :
Quote
From a non christian family, I heard the Lord as a child many years before I heard the gospel or knew what the cross was about.
Before being evangelised in my mid 20s, I already knew that God lived in my heart not church buildings, and I knew that eternal life was not earned by being good, but was free gift.

My wife at the age of 3 had third heaven experiences like Paul mentions.

Here you have answered the eternal question...

However giving you an alternative view once again...................

All of us whether born agian /saved or not . will see God  [but the questionis will we remain with God] ?

All of humanity will stand before god - so all will see a great light and all will be brought up before the Throne...

Experiences of heaven - cannot therefore define and  label us as God's children and confirm our vadility as children of God.

Is our future dependant on God or us

Depends how many rooms we have given to God in our lives..

If we are totally dependent on God for our future - then we are trusting and putting our future in God's hands

This is why we take one day at a time and one step at a time .

We step out into the waters and God allows us to walk on it.
.

Or we sink depending on our trust [either way He pulls us out]

My future totally depends on God [because He is a God of the miraculous] I expect the miraculous
