Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; zthey shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Hello @Rose Anna,

Thank you for letting me respond.

My thoughts went to the days when I helped with a children's Bible Club in our area. My children went along too, and I learned so much from listening to the lessons, and singing along to the books of the Bible, and memory verse choruses.

One of the visual aids were two foot shapes, a left and a right.  They were used to illustrate the need to not only TRUST but to OBEY.  Unless you combined doctrine with practice, your WALK of faith would not be balanced and you were likely to stumble and fall from the way.

We sang the hymn, 'Trust and Obey', along with it.

When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way,
And in fellowship sweet, we shall sit at His feet
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Trust and obey
For there's no other way,
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

I may not have the words quite right now, but that is how I remember them.

Praise God!

In Christ Jesus
Cariad
