I believe it has taken a lot longer than 6 24 hour days.

What do you believe.

On the seventh day - scripture/God/  never said "and so ended the seventh day"

Not including or excluding / something in scripture however does not mean "it did'nt happen"

Merely that God/Holy Spirit/  did not see it necessary to  include...

Hi TJ
Thank you for your reply of course Christ's millennial reign is the last day of this creation at the end of which he hands everything back to the father who then proceeds with a new creation.

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

of course all days have a beginning and an end Gods sabbath rest begins when Christ returns to begin his millennial reign it ends after 1000 years when he hands back everything back to the Father and so begins the first day of the new creation.

Love and Peace

Hi
Still no one want's to talk with me just have carry on on my own so lets say the big bang happened what next well as I understand it all things were flung outward suns and planets formed the earth started out as a ball of fire which would mean it was sterile no life forms could survive in such high temperatures.
so the earth gradually cooled and small micro organisms appeared so the evolutionists say but where did the come from common sence tells us that all life comes from life on life form comes from dead matter its impossible so here we have another miracle this is the second miracle which the begins a chain of billions upon billions of miracles  which ends with blue whales the human race and the most complicated mass in the universe we know of the human brain.

Love and Peace

See in depth analysis / EVOLUTION -VIDEO

Wow,  Now how could that have been overlooked.😀

Here too is a video evolution v God

And there are different atheists, some describe the view of faith being based on the lack of evidence and can not substantiate the different evidences there are for God being true, but  so many support the theory of evolution.
That does not have evidence, except that people that are  given credibility and intelligent status are listened to far too much.

The Piltdown man
A skull gave the theory some evidence, until it was found to be a hoax, of two different skulls fused together and half was a human skull and half was an orangutan.

So much truth is coming into the light and more of the bible is being given historical archaeological evidence.
The dead sea scrolls found in Qumrams caves, Hezekiahs tunnel still remains ,Herods palace still remains and  more being discovered like Zechariahs cave.

Places where Paul was shipwrecked in Bugibba. Patmos island where John had his revelation. And more.
The prophesies Jesus fulfilled . The prophesies made yesterday becoming more and more manifestations of today .
Including the blindness of today and scoffers.
These are physical evidences and there is obvious evidence in the divine beauty of creation.
That was acknowledged before but that wasn't enough for society because they needed to worship from their heart.
This is not referring to individuals but to society because in former generations God was revered acknowledged, prayed  to but not all responded by their heart. Leading to the seeds being choked by worldliness, where atheism and evolution influence so many and change the world.

Let's hope many will truly turn to God at this time of famine and thirst.

Hi,

Yes i do believe in evolution, because it?s been proven and continues to provide evidence.  The only surprising and disappointing element of this is that so many still dispute this despite volumes and volumes of physical, documented evidence.  This is so ?old hat?, that most theologians don?t even debate it anymore.  Hopefully our education system will improve and teach science properly.

Hi Tara.

How are you?
It's nice that you show an interest in the different views here.

It's just I fail to see the evidence that animals change to a completely different animal, over the course of a very long time.
There maybe fossils but can they be absolute evidence.
??
There maybe other forms of evolution because even in the last 50 to 60 years humans are bigger, as a result of changes to diet and a different environment. I may believe it that way and that way back in time humans were hairyier but that humans were once fish species is something I just cannot see.

I find the evidence of God absolute and obvious and am disappointed that so many reject Him and His truth.

If I refused God in the past, it would have been because I didn't want to admit my own faults and past mistakes but to blame others, but in His light we can ,because He paid the price for them, as He Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
Giving the means of forgiveness.

Never can we rely on our human goodness but need God.

It isn't just about fossils any more... the most convincing evidence for evolution is to be found in genetics.

I agree - but we don't have a straight choice between God and evolution. Why couldn't God have invented and directed the process of evolution?
Nor do we discredit the entire Bible if we don't interpret the early chapters of Genesis literally.

Sadly, most of the information on this subject is promoted by people who have extreme views on either one side or the other. I would urge Christians to read a book on evolution written by a Christian (e.g. Denis Alexander's book "Creation or evolution - do we have to choose") in order to understand the science without the anti-Christian polemic.

Hi Deborah,

God must be within the power of science and the way information gets passed from one cell to another, as just one example.

Interesting that evolution was found in genetics but is that more to do with the example I have given that people change through the change s in the environment, and that adaptation takes place within the genetic information.?

Can that still prove Darwin's theory of evolution though.?

Exactly that it seems evidence seems to go to support either evolution or God?

I agree that even if it was proved, then why should it deny God because it shouldn't. After all the cells knew how to grow and shape and shows design and power, pinpointing our Creator.

It seems sad that this is ignored and should not discount the bible and genesis.
Whether genesis is literal or not literal.
