Hi

Gen 1:6  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Gen 1:7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen 1:8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

In Revelations we are told.

Rev_17:15  And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Are the waters that are divided here People of the earth and the heavenly beings so that no more angels could come down and ruin this creation and there was evening and morning the second day Light and darkness Good and evil.

Hi
Thought I would try to resurrect this thread I see it has been read over 20000 times so it seems a lot of people out there think it's interesting.
The unbeliever says there is no God on what does he base this statement if he has not read the bible then he is making it in ignorance.
All through the scriptures from the beginning to the end God is telling us what he is going to do

.   Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure

So my advice to unbelievers is check out the prophecies of scripture which will prove there is a God and he knows and tells us everything that is going to happen in advance.

Love and Peace
Dave

I would always believe facts rather than fiction.
Facts are evident from what currently exists.
Fiction becomes lass factual the older the source.

Hi Theo
The problem is today's facts can be tomorrows fiction modern science moves on pretty fast and can change from day to day.
On the other hand Gods word does not change it is the same today as the day it was written and what God says he is the creator of all life then that is a fact.
All life is so unbelievably complex that I believe it would be impossible to create   itself take DNA if you join all the DNA in my body it would stretch to the moon and back 8000 time DNA is information were dose  this information come from has to come from an intelligent sauce God fact.

How would you get anywhere with someone struggling to believe in a God let alone 'His Word being perfect and unchanging', in respect of the facts of science not needing a miraculous/supernatural touch for their reality?

Hi Serenity
Thank you for your post what are the facts of science much of what I read about evolution says that it is a theory and I admit A very good and convincing one of they would only give God the credit for it everything would be perfect.
Is the earth as old as science says it is I believe so and I don't believe it undermines the bible in any way
As I have said many times before the creation account in Genesis should be read from the flood to the present day and beyond it is the story of the new creation which is not the creation of everything everything God needed was saved on the ark the only thing missing was man in the image of God who is Jesus Christ our Lord as stated categorically in scripture.

. Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high             color

I can't understand why nobody understands This plane statement of fact

This is said of no one else in scripture Christ is the image of God The Father and this will be at his second coming when he is united with his bride the church  read the creation of Eve it's the same story of Christ and his church.

Hi @davetaff

I can't understand why nobody understands This plane statement of fact

I agree with you on this, people tend to believe whatever they want, for example, you can explain what a ?theory? means in scientific terms, show that meaning in a dictionary etc etc, and yet people (including you) still use theory as some derogatory term regarding evolution.  It?s so frustrating, isn?t it 😆?

Hi Tara
Thank you for your reply of course there are many thing that science can use to prove evolution as such and very convincing they are too but there are still many things they don't know and there maybe things that turn up tomorrow which may disprove what we know today so if something is not 100% proven is it a theory ??
I applaud everything science is doing and has done all they need to do now is put God as the head of evolution and all our problems will be solved.

love and Peace
Dave
