Hi Christianna
Thank you for your reply I think Mr Dawkins needs to watch the news men are already doing bad things and have been doing them ever since Cain killed Able the atrocities that are happening today are absolutely appalling but we who believe should not be surprised we know all these things will happen in the end times our Lord has told us.

The opposite of God's intention is happening mankind was created to look after and tend God's creation and this has never happened yet.

.   Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth

But the above will be achieved in Christ at his second coming with all those who belong to him then we will have mankind in God's image tending God's creation and the above verse will be fulfilled.

Love and Peace

Hi
Just had another thought is what men call evolution  in fact a type of vast computer program created By God he infused it into a sterile world and gave it life which he watches over to make sure it developed exactly as he wants it as when the angels contaminated it before the flood so God rectified it.
Just a thought.

Dave,
for evolution to work there has to be a cycle of birth and death. The death of those 'evolved' forms that cannot compete as well as the death of food animals and of the old.

This then has to be consider 'good'.

May I challenge you to find biblical verses that say that death is 'good'?

If you can't then you have a big problem.

Far simpler to accept what genesis says.
That God created everything over six days and that it was all very good.

Hi John
Lets get one thing straight I am not in any shape or form advocating evolution I have said many times and say again I believe whole heatedly that the God of the bible is the creator of all things in heaven and earth.
I have also said I believe in the 6 days of creation which began with Noah and would take with the millennium reign of Christ 7000 years if God destroyed everything he created before the flood then it stands to reason he would have to begin again with what was on the ark so he would not need to create everything the only thing missing was Mankind in Gods image.

Everything God creates is Good and for the ultimate good of mankind even if we cant see it when God says it was very good it was at the end of his creating process which is still a future event if it is not so it means God has failed and the God I believe in cannot fail.

why did God give us the tree of Knowledge of good and evil I say this tree was the Law given to Israel through Moses the law tells us what sin is if everything God dose is for our good why give us this tree which brings death he gave it so we could make a right choice reject the evil and do the good.

as for your question about death is there such a thing as death at the present time according to scripture we don't die we go to sleep to wait for the resurrection so strictly speaking we do not die but there is a second death don't know what that is.

yes God will create everything in 6 days and it will be very good we will be with the Lord for ever.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi John
thank you for your reply you can judge me any way you like I do not count the judgement of men I will stand before the judgement seat of Christ that's the only judgement that counts.
You say what I say is unbiblical Yet almost everything I post contains scripture to support it which you seam to ignore you hardly ever say what you think the scripture means lets look at some of the scriptures I have posted and you give your explanation.

Lets begin with

.   Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth

If I understand you correctly this means that God created a cave man or something similar said it was very good put his feet up and took a rest.
Don't you read what the verse says it says in our image not in my image  after our likeness not my likeness then it says let them not let him let them have dominion over everything that God has created to look after it the whole verse screams a lot more people than one man and one woman looking after the planet and at the present time we are not looking after the planet but destroying it

then we have this again which you have ignored

Joh 5:17  But Jesus answered them, ?My Father is working until now, and I am working.?

If God was still working 2000 years ago when did he rest the answer is

Heb 4:9  So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,

to me this is as plain as the nose on your face Gods rest is still a  future  event

then who is man in Gods image the answer is Christ the crowning glory of creation.

Heb 1:2  but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
Heb 1:3  He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Please read these verses carefully they are said of no other person in scripture Christ at his second coming is mankind in Gods image.

To say a prehistoric man was the image of God is an insult to God.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi davetaff,

I know through reading your posts that you have faith in Jesus and understand and accept that He paid the price for your sins. As long as your
heart responded to Christ, in repentance then you are a believer.

And I've heard so many different view points apart from this, that are not the criteria for  whether one is in Christ or not.

It's true there are false converts but that can hurt someone who is genuinely a child of God who is falsely accused of not being so, and if that hurts you it also hurts me, hurts the Body of Christ and hurts God.

I'm not writing of false converts but of the damage towards true believers.
Glad you are not listening to the judgements of men who do not ask God to try to see what you are saying and who do not read it all, but jump very quickly to assumption.

It's between God and you and let Him speak to you and into your heart and reveal the truth to you.
Please be aware other readers Im writing to Dave, not you.
God Bless Dave and take care.
