It is interesting to note - that..."these Old Testament people had a Light ahead of them also"

Therefore they cast shadows [which were types - of things to come]

Without the Light there would be no shadow and no type and confirmed by an antitype.

And so what I am suggesting in these fragmented posts - is this.

"We continue to live in the shadow of Christ"

And although we see the fulfillment we are yet to see the finish line.

Christ [The Light] is still to come. [until then we continue to be His shadow] as we will never be God

Also I would suggest that "not all personal prophecy is yet fulfilled"

I am still waiting on "words" given over a century ago [I am waiting on Light on these things]

And so - we wait on the confirmations [to shed light on words/promises  given]

Once these personal covenants/promises / becme reality we live in the Light of them [only given to individuals]

And so you see - the binoculars and the shadows given by a Light "are A now thing as well - yet to be fulfilled"

Therefore I would suggest again that "we none of us know the full reality and fulfillment of the Light and we are merely walking "as one's wearing eyepieces" in virtual reality - yet one day we will see all.

When God is our Light

Hi
I was reading something to day which reminded me of another thing that happened to Israel and Christ.
Pharaoh ordered that all male children born to the Israelite's shall be put to death Herod gave a similar order at the birth of Christ another shadow.

Maybe we should start to look at more specific scriptures that relate to Christ our Lord the problem is were to start there are so many of them anyone like to start us of.

Love and Peace

Of course not don't know where you got that Idea from what I am saying is what happens to Israel happens to Christ that's why I think we should view Israel as Adam and Christ as the last Adam.
what I meant was Pharaoh and Herod both tried to kill the seed that God promised in Eden then to Noah to Abraham to Isaac to Jacob (Israel) to David.
The devil has been trying to thwart Gods plans from the beginning without success.

Another thing we should look at is the Passover lamb  Israel were saved by sprinkling the blood of the lamb on the door posts of there house to prevent the angel of death killing the first born of Israel. again to preserve the seed.

In like manner we we are saved through the the blood of the perfect Passover lamb the Son of God Jesus Christ again we have a foreshadowing what happened To Israel happens to Christ.
It's also interesting to note God's timing Christ was sacrificed at exactly the right time on the Passover only God could achieve that.

We need to be careful when reading to deeply into shadows !

I could say that "my dads death was a shadow of mine [and it is]

But we see history repeat itself again and again [often in the news - "thinking outside of the bible"]

Also children being put to death by evil governments  ...being paralleled [being a paraclete]  of the death of Christ ?

how then can I be saved by the death of Israel ? [see what I mean ?]
