When he had cried "IT IS FINISHED!"  he bowed his head and said 'Father into your hands I commend my spirit.' and he died,
Three days later he came back to life.

Revelation 13:8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast -- all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.

Okay, I'm not sure how that fits in with the original post, could you elaborate please?

To unpack TJs scripture, it means that although Jesus died on Calvary about 2000 years ago, the legal application of that death starts in the Garden of Eden when God slew the lamb and places its bloody skin on Adam and Eve.

Jesus, the second Adam, died to redeem all mankind from the rebellious action of the first Adam.
Whether men accept that sacrifice or reject it is down to them.
Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)

Excellent @francis drake

I couldn,t have put it better...

I like

when God slew the lamb
that takes the responsibility off me and put's onto God

Rather than Guest sin nailing Him to the Cross...

And it kind of takes Jesus death outside 0f time - the time that we live in....

So can I live outside of time ?

After all  - how silly to suggest that my sin could have nailed Jesus to a Cross two thousand years ago - that is as silly as saying "I can be saved/born again now, because Jesus died two thousand years ago ?

Okay, tiny bit clearer, thanks.
