You see the Spirit speaks to the Chuches/church -  Today

What do you think the Spirit would be saying NOW/TODAY - to your Church as a whole ?

And so the "Revelation continues" and we continue to "gain sight"

Here the written Word becomes the ongoing Word - NOW

Not only that but we see the Spirit of God - "saying the  same things to His people"

Whether and whatever place we may meet or "Not"

It is like God is speaking to so many people in all walks of life and bringing them together to share "The Now Word"  and this is "Church"

Hi
I was thinking of these verses thought they mite be of relevance

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:12  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

We see here how the devil was overcome by the blood of Christ and by the word not by force of arms I find this text interesting
(the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony) dose this mean that those who have die for the word of God are also counted as the blood of Christ.
When do you think the devil was cast down is it a future event or was it after the last martyr was slain for the word of God by that I mean the last apostle.
we know the world has been going from bad to worse for a very long time.

1Pe 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Love and Peace

I believe at this moment in time - that satan was cast down "in the beginning" and we find the serpent tempting Eve in the "garden" created by God.

I wonder if God knew satan while he was being knitted together in "His womb" ?

The Jewish belief is that  satan was created on one of the 6 days of creation !

We of course see the angelic host and the wars in heaven as happening before time was created [before the stars /sun /moon orbits creating night and day- light and dark /day and night] satan being named so being the "accuser" before the brethren were formed. see : Revelation 12:9-11; has been hurled down.... - This is the great war in heaven .

As @francis drake mentioned .............the revelation has already begun and continues and here we see the old serpent being cast down "in the beginning @creations beginning @ the beginning of time - when mankind was first created.

But the accuser of Adam and Eve [bethren] Guest  knew his time was short Matthew 8:29;

Their testimony being "what God had done and is doing now"but more so by the testimony of the Lamb"

That His blood was shed ..

But here's the turn around - as we see again and again that this is a two way relational person to person testimony ?

Although it is the blood of the Lamb that conquers without the testimony of His followers , the outcome of and application of ...the response of and validation of those participating in this ongoing path - what would be the reason for the shed blood ?

A  metaphor might be " of a son who went on a long journey but returned to his father"  Luke 15:11-32;  here the Father lost sight of His Son because  of sin - but the Son returned to Him and the Father saw Him again"

He was always a Son but the Father lost sight of Him for a while ......Joel 2:10; oops sorry wrong scripture - lets go to Matthew 27:45  and verse forty six = 46About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?" that is, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"?

Here the Son becomes sin  2 Corinthians 5:21

Hey Jesus was the prodigal ?  do you see that Guest  ?

Wow that is a revelation ...

Now I identify with Him ? @Guest

You see God looks at you Guest and see's Jesus [the blood shed  Exodus 12:7; ..He took your place  Guest - even in revelations...

Here we have brought time into one place and into the Now - do you see what I mean ? Guest

Wow, you mentioned me a lot in that wee passage haha. No, Jesus was not the prodigal son. Jesus was referring to Israel as the prodigal son. How do we know this? Because the older brother was angry with him? The older brother being the Pharisees, who wouldn`t come into the feast out of judgement of the younger brother. Jesus did not become a sinner, nor was he ever a sinner. He did not squander his inheritance on riotous living and women, on a debauched life. So how can he be the prodigal son if he was on about himself. I like your sincerity and passion, but I do not agree with you on that one. Peace.
