Hi @Cariad
It made me so sad to read your last post I thought we were doing ok but obviously I have said or done something to upset you for which I apologise.
I know we have different views I tend to take a more spiritual view and you like to take a more literal view but I don't see that as a problem we are all at different stages in our walk the most important thing is whats in our hearts it's this what God looks at.
If we believe to the glory of God it will be acceptable to him.
I have nothing against a literal view of scripture I believe in the written word of God but I also believe there is a spiritual level.

And as Q said many have read this thread over 12000 views last time i looked and think how often your posts have bean read and how much of Gods word has been read thank to the scriptures we have posted we may never know how much good it has done but dose that matter.

Heb 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Carrying on where we left of

Rev 14:11  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Rev 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 14:13  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Rev 14:14  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

Should we be sorry for those who worship the beast they don't have a very good future to look forward to is the worship of the beast the love of money.

1Ti 6:10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

those who are there in the last day will certainly need all the patience they can muster it's going to be a very trying time maybe it's already started it's going to require great faith in the final out come but we know all Gods promises are certain.

It's great to know we will not only enter into our rest but also into Gods Sabbath rest in spite of all the trials and tribulations we have a wonderful future awaiting us.
The next vision we have is the son of man instead of a crown of thorns he has the crown of his kingship and he is preparing to harvest the earth what a wonderful vision.

Please add your thoughts

Love and Peace

Rev 14:11 can be paralleled with Genesis 19:28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace;

Where even  those who are saved may look back  26But Lot?s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

Even though we are the salt of the earth in another metaphor.

We see the effect of the past upon the lives of Lot and his daughters as  lot sought/seeks  refuse in a cave with his daughters and his daughters lay with him.

Lets continue a little further But if anyone wishes to comment on a previous post please feel free I need all the help I can get.

Rev 14:15  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
Rev 14:16  And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Is this a reference to the rapture when our Lord comes to take home all those that belong to him to begin the millennial reign.

Rev 14:17  And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
Rev 14:18  And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
Rev 14:19  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Rev 14:20  And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Here we have another harvest but this is very different to the first not sure what the wine press is but it don't sound very pleasant dose it.
And this harvest was trodden down outside  the city, is this city the new Jerusalem the first Harvest would be inside the city.

There are two harvests the first one is all those who belong to the Body of Christ St Paul says it much better than me.

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The vine of the earth must be those who belong to the earth all the the  unbelievers the question being what is the wine press of God what is it's purpose is it intended for good.

Moving on to the next section hope I'm not going to fast if so we can always go back pleas say if you have any questions.

Rev 15:1  And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Rev 15:2  And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Rev 15:3  And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
Rev 15:4  Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Rev 15:5  And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
Rev 15:6  And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
Rev 15:7  And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Rev 15:8  And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

This is a interesting vision who are these standing on the sea of glass with harps singing the song of Moses and the Lamb I believe they must be a combination of Israel and the church of Christ this has to be after the rapture.

The next interesting piece is

for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgements are made manifest.

I take this to mean all those who have not bean raptured those that remain my question is if they worship God why would they be destroyed in the lake of fire.

Moving on please feel free to join in

Rev 16:1  And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Rev 16:2  And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

This reminds us of the plagues on Egypt but here there are only seven of course 7 usually means complete or finished.
This  grievous sore was only for those who had the mark of the beast again this reminds us of the Egyptian plagues they only affected the Egyptians the Israelite s where spared just goes show God can and will save all those who belong to him.

Here I am again talking ti my self has nobody else out there any thoughts on these things not much fun on your own.
on to the next section.

Rev 16:3  And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
Rev 16:4  And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
Rev 16:5  And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
Rev 16:6  For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
Rev 16:7  And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

We are told that the seas mentioned in revelations are peoples the sea of humanity if you like.
Could the blood of the dead man be the blood of Christ and every living soul died could it be the same kind of death we experience at baptism and from this death rebirth?
Then shall the waters of the word be mixed with the blood of the lamb the blood being the holy spirit are the peoples worthy because they have bean reborn.

Love and Peace
