Hi
 Rev 6:12  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

What dose the sun symbolise I say Its Christ the light of the world the moon is the church when Christ ascended into heaven at penticost we could not see him and his light but he left us his moon the church which became as blood the blood represents the holy spirit the blood of Christ which gives life to the body of Christ.
So although we cannot see Christ he is still guiding his church the moon is the reflected light of the sun I think St Paul tells us this in this verse.

12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully

so for the last 2000 years the church Christ's helper has been doing the work it is commanded to do.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi
The next verse is.
Rev 6:13  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Who or what is meant by the stars of heaven I think it may be Israel as we see from this verse.

Deu 1:10  The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.

we know when Israel rejected our lord they were rejected for a time until the full number of the gentiles had come in then Israel would be reinstated then all Israel would be saved.

Love and Peace

Rev 6:13  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

It is interesting here that the stars fell fom heaven to earth ?

This can be interpreted in many ways...not to mention Isaiah 14:13  You said in your heart, "I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.
when satan fell from the heavens ! thus the rulers of the earth fall in a different dimension and time .....

This may take us to look at different times in His-Story eg:

Isaiah 2:19  People will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the ground from the fearful presence of the LORD and the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake the earth.

Luke 23:30 Then "'they will say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!"'

Revelation 6:16   They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

Now look at Genesis 3:8  Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Surely they are now guilty lets hang them"  said the future generations under the same curse..

Hi
Just wondering what the following is all about be grateful if anyone has any ideas.

Rev 7:1  And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Are the winds the breath of God which gives life to the dead maybe these few verses may help us

Eze 37:8  And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
Eze 37:9  Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Eze 37:10  So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
Eze 37:11  Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
Eze 37:12  Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
Eze 37:13  And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
Eze 37:14  And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

Love and Peace

I would suggest this is as in Daniel 8:8  The goat became very great, but at the height of its power the large horn was broken off, and in its place four prominent horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven.

"Heaven" here gives us an answer to the question

The horns of course are God's power
