Hi
Moving on to the next verse.

Rev 6:11  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The white rob's are the righteousness of Christ which the believer is clothed with this is what God sees Christ's righteousness not our sinful nature.
Mankind has been waiting since Adam to be able to come into the presence of God only Christ could make it possible through the cross.

Love and Peace

Yes and we mustn't forget we live in the Resurrection/Ascension times, and what that brings.  What happened effected change for mankind and their relationship with God.

This all had me thinking of Scriptures in Ephesians, I will post a couple:

Ephesians 2

4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions?it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith?and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God..................................... 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

14For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

19Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God?s people and also members of his household, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus

Raised...seated....with and in Christ.  This has happened not a futuristic event.

Also

Quote
Quote
Ephesians 3

 10His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Hi Serenity
Very good post very uplifting enjoyed every word thank you.

Moving on to the next section seams to be a bit frightening it is a bit long but it seams to hang together hard to split up.

 Rev 6:12  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:13  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Rev 6:16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Not an easy one this one  shall have to think about it.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi
Jest thinking about the earthquake I think there may be a clue in Hebrews

 Heb 12:26  Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
Heb 12:27  And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Heb 12:28  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Heb 12:29  For our God is a consuming fire.

I don't think it will be an ordinary earthquake but a shaking of the man made things political and financial institutions in preparation for our Lord and his Church ot take over in the millennial reign.

Love and Peace

This is satan and rulers of the earth against the Church [the bride]

The flood that came out of the serpents mouth see :  Genesis 3:1

The stars here can be seen as mighty rulers and this is the anit Christ [satan] against the Church and all He bares.,

Here satan seems to devour. in Revelation 6:14 we see the scroll being rolled up and here the stars are removed from
their places [high and noble postions] see: Hosea 10:8

In Revelation 6:16 we transit to  -  The highest power over all "the Lord Jesus Christ"

And finally on that great day who is able to stand ? in Revelation 6:17  ?

Who will be the elect ?  and who will stand on that great day ? the day called the "great day"

wow we are skipping very quickly here

Already we are beginning to see the scroll unrolled before us - as somethng that has already happened.....

Not something that is to come - but a finality of things that are  being now.

Yet have already been transposed in the past .

Yet will be in the future tense.

So you may see the stars here - as literal ...

but why should you ? as so much of The Boolk of revelation is about {Symbols] - [Images] /

Here those who sit at the Head of the table are told to take a lower place Luke 14:10;

Here we see "A summary of the book we have already read"

Here we are seeing a summary....
