Interesting !

What do you make of ?For anyone who enters God?s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us,

Hebrews 4

Do you believe it may be possible to enter that rest now ?

Hi
Not an easy question to answer I think we may well have a place reserved for us as part of the body of Christ but as I said in my previous post Gods rest is a future event the other thing is when God is taking his well earned rest Christ and his bride will be working in his millennial reign.
So although the Father will be resting there will be a lot going on.

Love and Peace

Hi
On reflection I think when we are a absolutely sure that God will fulfil all his promises that our minds are put to rest and we can face everything the word can throw at us because we know the what the final outcome will be.

Hi
Moving on to the second seal.

Rev 6:3  And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
Rev 6:4  And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

When one thinks of red one thinks of blood I always think of the blood of Christ as the spirit poured out the life is in the blood.
so is the rider on the red horse the spirit of Christ he has a big sword the word of God the gospel has always bean opposed by the world taking peace from the earth.
The word of God kills through baptism and rebirth the world jest kills.

Love and Peace

Aye that parallels with the current verse in Revelation 5:9;

Here John is actually observing the Lamb that was slain being worshipped by the four living
creatures and the twenty four elders and they  sung a "new song" being new because now the Lamb of God had been slain and
His blood had paid the price in Revelation 5:9;

Now look at Revelation 5:10; here because of the price that was payed His people are now  priests and made to be "a Kingdom"
[note] this is a "Kingdom" not Kings. now see the shadow in Exodus 19:6;you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a
 holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites."

Do not jump ahead and miss verses  :D [its verse by verse through each chapter

Hi Tjs
not to sure, it would be nice if others joined in mite get a bit boring talking to myself mind you I would get an intelligent answer  :laugh: :laugh:

 But we can give it a try see how it goes what dose Serenity think she started it would she like it to continue.

 Rev 5:10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev 5:11  And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

I take it that the rapture has taken place the church the bride and Christ are united and have become one and it is these who will reign on earth with Christ.
I have wondered if the 144.000 from Israel will be included will they be redeemed at the same time as the rapture or after anyone have any thoughts on this.
Then we have all the hosts of Heaven around the throne singing praises what a fantastic sight that will be.

Love and peace
Dave
