In these questions like who is the rider of the white horse ?
We can ask God. Sometimes the answer comes quickly. Other times years.

Not saying Billy Graham is right or wrong but considering what he had written.
Billy Graham referred to the rider as being the antichrist, bringing destruction, war etc. The rider of the white horse in Revelation 19:11-16 has many crowns and a sharp sword from His mouth. The description is different to the rider of the white horse in Revelation 6:2 who just has a crown, a bow and no arrows. The descriptions are different generally.

There are often questions as to why there is suffering. Well, the world is increasingly rejecting God and so in comes government, without God as an example, with antichrist policys. Therefore the blessing and protection is lost because people refused God. They are sending Him away and consequently lose the blessing and protection, because they thought they were self sufficient, they took Him for granted and didnt appreciate how much He is the source of all good, light and protection. Then also blame Him when natural disasters occur, instead of taking responsibility for their own refusal of God. Therefore the consequences occur and the increase of earthquakes occur, like the start of contractions in childbirth, as Jesus described. Matthew 24:7-8 The time we are in is increasing to the tribulation, also described as Jacobs trouble. That people will be fainting with fear on the earth and men looking like they are giving birth. Though will be saved out of it. Jeremiah 30:6-7 (Going to quickly find the scriptures, where I had written this before.)

Hi Primrose
Thanks for your post I am thinking about the two descriptions of the rider on the white horse maybe the  one in Revelation 6:2 represents Christ at his first coming and the one in Revelation 19:11-16 is a description of his second coming.
As for your reference to Jeremiah 30:6-7 I believe this mite mean that Jakob which is Israel man in Gods image would give birth to a son which is Christ hence the saying the son of man he was the son of Israel and also the son of God.

Depends whether this book is the book of life or another book ?

Also we now bring free will into the equation - if I am saved or born again [not depending on my own merits but on God's] and what free will I have [where and in what family I am born?]

Depending on these God choices decides what free will I have in my circumstances and situations !

Lets decide which country I am born in \? ahh poverty stricken Ethiopia ! I would also like a choice as to what parents I have and the choice of my work and occupation [rather than being a prostitute or beggar, ahh no bible on the streets ?

I don't think the book with the seven seals is the book of life The book of life contains all the names of the faithful.

Rev 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I can' for the life of me see what free will has to do with anything are you saying that because God had a plan I believe free will was part of the plan without it we could not choose to Love God and we must choose ourself's God cannot force us to love him that would not be love.

Love and Peace

Hi
Another question to be asked is when was the book written and sealed was it before creation started or after Christ was risen I think I would plump for before creation started which would mean everything that has happened is happening and will happen in the future was decided from the beginning.
So maybe we should view Revelations from that view point as you may know i Believe there are three creations Adam to Noah, Noah to Christ, and Christ to the second coming But it's all one big creation bit like the trinity.
If any of this is right we should be able to see the history of mankind in revelations bit like prophesies in reverse.

Love and Peace

I think that you are right @davetaff

As the Kingdom and the secrets were known before creation

The secrets were no secret to Jesus [yet to be the Son of God]

He knew the King-Dominion.

But yet not before He was the Son ......

What do you make of that ?

Was Jesus always the Son of God ?

Or did He suddenly become the Son ?

Look  @ Psalm 2:7   I will proclaim the LORD's decree: He said to me, "You are my son; today I have become your father.

So the Son was always the Son - but did He always have a Father ?

Jesus only learnt to listen to the Father while on earth !

Now He could call God ...Father ?

So the Son became the Son once born as a "Son"

Learning to listen to the "New Father"

So here we have a snippet of revelation and we ask "when did I become a child of God and know Him as a Father ?"

Hi TJS
Not to sure what your asking but will try to answer

You Said

Was Jesus always the Son of God ?

Because the scriptures say " Out of Egypt I called my Son " When Jesus went up to Egypt he was only a baby when God called him back he was only a young lad so I take this to mean he was always Gods Son.

The phrase " Out of Egypt I called my Son " applies both to Israel and to Christ If we go back to the beginning of the creation of Israel we find that God always chooses the younger son and here again God chooses the younger son Christ.

Don't know what you mean by new father unless you mean Israel was his father he became the son of man.
You said "when did I become a child of God and know Him as a Father ?" I would say when you were baptised when you became a part of the body of Christ you became part of the son of God Man in Gods image is not one human man but Jesus Christ as the Head and the body the church all the faithful through time.
Which of course means God would be the same, God the head and all his angles his body It's the head that controls the body the same as your head controls your body and the body is always obedient to the head.
Remember Adam and Eve became one flesh they were not two but one and this still applies to Christ's church.

Sorry I seam to be way of track again have to try and get back to revelations.

Love and Peace

Interesting scriptures there

I'll post later - but no it's not going off topic at all as I'm kinda twiddling with a few thoughts about the Kingdom [the book with the seven seals]

David writes of a "decree," [in Psalm 2]  - made by God the Father in the beginning, and spoken of by the Son,  and here God  invests in the Son .

Here is The kingdom of the Messiah  founded upon an eternal decree.....

This is the decree made before time and this is the Kingdom [a Kingdom secret]  Hebrews 1:5

Here we see the Lamb that was slain being able to "break the seals" spoken of  in the Psalms - it was the decree spoken between
the Father and Son [the eternal covenant  # http://faithq.co.uk/index.php/component/content/article/27-covenants/70-what-is-the-eternal-covenant?Itemid=276]

This is the "Day of Jesus"  Psalm 24:6 the generation of those....John 1:18

This is the day that the Lord has made - I will rejoice and be glad in these days....

The Kingdom is often referred too in parables [to those who hear] and we read of "another day" once in that day no one can reverse it Isaiah 43:13;

And so it is written in the treasury of David Psalm 2:7 [WHY DO THE NATIONS RAGE AGAINST THE LORD  AND HIS ANOINTED ?" The One who is worthy to break the seals and read the book [hidden since the dawning of time - is the Lamb that was slain since the foundation of ther world]

Now as the nations rage aginst God's anointed One - He breaks the seals and reads the secrets of the Kingdom, the Kingdom
of our Lord and Savior "spoken of before time existed"
