So now we are poised at a place where the first  seal is about to be opened..

This seal  will change our life's and the future of our planet earth...

The Lamb that was slain [Jesus Christ Crucified] is worthy and allowed to open this seal which allows the first horse and
 rider .

So here we might see the Lamb breaking the first seal to reveal Christ as the rider of the white horse .

The white horse would usually be seen as victorious and conqueror [see white stone and the winner of the race]

You may also see Jesus and His Bride riding the horse in victory together . [a future tense together]

Now we pause and consider whether this is past history present or future tense. as all three are contenders.

You see Guest the question here is this .......

Jesus the Lamb of God opened the seals ...

The opening of the seven seals reveals the judgements of God.....

So was/is/will the breaking of the seals and the consequences be upon Jesus ?

this is the age old question of "why do we have wars" and "Why do I suffer"

All Jesus did was to open the seals ? so why is it the end of humanity ?

What produces the Judgement of God upon mankind ?...

Is it the Son of God's Fault or mankinds fault ?

Why were the seals produced in the first place are they not God's righteous Judgement /past /present/future/

Hi TJs
Maybe the opening of the seals is for the comfort of believers for when we see all these things happening we will know the end is not far off things will not get better only worse God is giving mankind every opportunity to turn to him but they refuse.
Since the devil has been cast down he has bean doing everything in his power to turn mankind from God but with the prophecies given to us in revelations we know he will not succeed.
There is so much evil in the world just for the love of money we have the technology  and money to put men on the moon but we can't afford to give a child who is dying of thirst or starving to death a cup of water and a crust of bread this is a great evil and it makes me ashamed to be a member of the human race.
Thy Kingdom come

Love and Peace

Yes no wonder God holds back so much lest the devil could view it

Hi
Another question to be asked is when was the book written and sealed was it before creation started or after Christ was risen I think I would plump for before creation started which would mean everything that has happened is happening and will happen in the future was decided from the beginning.
So maybe we should view Revelations from that view point as you may know i Believe there are three creations Adam to Noah, Noah to Christ, and Christ to the second coming But it's all one big creation bit like the trinity.
If any of this is right we should be able to see the history of mankind in revelations bit like prophesies in reverse.

Love and Peace

In these questions like who is the rider of the white horse ?
We can ask God. Sometimes the answer comes quickly. Other times years.

Not saying Billy Graham is right or wrong but considering what he had written.
Billy Graham referred to the rider as being the antichrist, bringing destruction, war etc. The rider of the white horse in Revelation 19:11-16 has many crowns and a sharp sword from His mouth. The description is different to the rider of the white horse in Revelation 6:2 who just has a crown, a bow and no arrows. The descriptions are different generally.

There are often questions as to why there is suffering. Well, the world is increasingly rejecting God and so in comes government, without God as an example, with antichrist policys. Therefore the blessing and protection is lost because people refused God. They are sending Him away and consequently lose the blessing and protection, because they thought they were self sufficient, they took Him for granted and didnt appreciate how much He is the source of all good, light and protection. Then also blame Him when natural disasters occur, instead of taking responsibility for their own refusal of God. Therefore the consequences occur and the increase of earthquakes occur, like the start of contractions in childbirth, as Jesus described. Matthew 24:7-8 The time we are in is increasing to the tribulation, also described as Jacobs trouble. That people will be fainting with fear on the earth and men looking like they are giving birth. Though will be saved out of it. Jeremiah 30:6-7 (Going to quickly find the scriptures, where I had written this before.)

Depends whether this book is the book of life or another book ?

Also we now bring free will into the equation - if I am saved or born again [not depending on my own merits but on God's] and what free will I have [where and in what family I am born?]

Depending on these God choices decides what free will I have in my circumstances and situations !

Lets decide which country I am born in \? ahh poverty stricken Ethiopia ! I would also like a choice as to what parents I have and the choice of my work and occupation [rather than being a prostitute or beggar, ahh no bible on the streets ?

There seems to be quite a difference between the Zechariah 6:1-5 vision which are the four Spirits going to the cprners
of the earth - compared to  - Zechariah 1:8 and here the colours of the horses are quite significant.

Revelation 6 however relates to Revelation 19:11  I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.

There is a danger in waiting on the Lord for revelation - rather than asking for revelation from the written Word ...as revelation without the written word is a dangerous thing.

We might equate the rider of the white horse here with Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey

Ahh I wonder why Jesus wept ? the white horse rider cannot surely be Jesus ?  Matthew 23:37  "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

SEE :
Revelation 5:1

In the fullness of time, revelation is revealed and complete [7]

Matthew 13:11  He replied, "Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not
to them.
Here we see the book contains  the secrets of the Kingdom.....

Now note the scroll is not read - but as each seal is broken so it's contents pour out upon the earth [active/living]

[Remember now the earth will roll up like a scroll

Isaiah 34:4  All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and the heavens rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.

The book seems to contain the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven ?

Those things God chooses to keep hidden [God's hidden Will]

Those things as mentioned in the gospel books such as Matthew.

Those things revealed to children.

But here only the Lamb who was wprthy and true was able to open the seals and only the Lamb was able to read this  book

I suppose if all the revelation were revealed at once we could not contain it.
