I suppose it depends , who uses the - name  of Jesus and how it is used

The "Person" of Jesus has many names and obviously the "Jesus" is used in various forms and  languages

If I hear the Name of Jesus used as a swear word or curse word - then I would say "The word"  has no more power than any other word

See : What is meant by, "In my name".

Paul in his letters spoke of the power of Jesus :

For Christ did not send me to baptise  but to preach the gospel not with words of human wisdom, let the cross of Christ be emptied of its power 1 Corinthians 1:17

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words  but with the demonstration of the Spirits power, so that your faith might not rest on mens wisdom but on Gods power.  1 Corinthians 2:4-5

Jesus has the name above all names that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.  Philippians 2:5-11

We are in days where human words and wisdom is influential and promoted, as foretold in:
2 Timothy 3:1-5 described as having a form of godliness but denying it's power.
At that time many will turn away from the faith. Matthew 24:12
Many coming in the name of Christ. Matthew 24:4-5
In a different gospel, with a different Jesus. 2 Corinthians 11:4
Many deceivers not acknowledging Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. Described as antichrist. 2John 1:7

This is seen in the  rise of religions, falsely portraying Jesus, and with words and wisdom emptied of God's  power.  Also in the rise of atheism and human words and wisdom, completely misrepresenting Jesus. It's belief system  is  incomplete, imbalanced and empty of God's power. They aim for human goodness but lack the fullness and completeness of the fruits of God's Spirit.
Love, peace, truth and justice can never be genuinely achieved and attained without Christ .  His Spirit and Word is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient and knows and understands  all, penetrating to knowing all complications and motives of the heart.  The Spirit and Word of Christ  reaches the innermost core in understanding us and in soaking in His love and peace, giving us a mind that is set on eternity. Yet human wisdom that is without the real Jesus ,is limited in understanding and is temporary, like the morning mist that evaporates away and will be swallowed up by eternity and will disappear. That's without the real Jesus and therefore without His power. For the power of God is in  Christ, and the true gospel.

It is only by Jesus name that we can be saved.

The bible speaks of a different gospel and a different Jesus that is not the real Jesus.2 Corinthians 11:4
If people claim to follow Jesus but go against the way He would behave and go against His words and will, then who is this Jesus they follow and is there power in His name when it is not the real Jesus they follow and not His Holy Spirit.

Having cast many demons out of fellow believers over the years, I know the overcoming power that is in the name of Jesus, and I know the power of the blood of Jesus.

Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)
