Yes God is self sufficient, God the Father has fellowship with God the Son and with God the holy spirit. They are complete in themselves. God created the universe because it gave/gives him pleasure to create.

So God would not require anything of us ?

Micah 6:8 ;  Deuteronomy 10:12; Matthew 22:37;

Why would the Lord God require these above when He does not need for anyone or anything ?

Because doing these things is not for Gods benefit but ours. If a doctor tells you that you must loose weight and suggest how. Do you ignore his advice or follow it. God gave those instructions for us to follow so we might live lives that please God.
