Hi John
No not everyone will accept the invite but on the other hand everyone has to be invited so when will this happen I say in the millennium everyone has to be invited so that they can accept or reject the gospel  of their own free will God loves us he wants as many as possible.

Thank you Chris for a lovely  piece of scripture.

Love and Peace
Dave
'And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached
in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come.'

(Mat 24:14)

Hello @dave,

Once again at the end of the age' the Gospel of the Kingdom' will be preached, among the nations, by the redeemed of Israel, the restored nation, who will take up their Divinely appointed role as Priests unto God (Exodus 19:6).  It is on the basis of how the nations treat these, Christ's 'brethren,' that the nations will be judged (Matthew 25:31-46).

'And the King shall answer and say unto them,
Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it
unto one of the least of these My brethren,
ye have done it unto Me.'

(Mat 25:40)

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

Hi Chris
Thank you for your reply interesting and good scripture thought provoking
I believe  that the mellenium is the Fathers  sabbath  rest  where he hands over everything  to the Son to finish the creation which is mankind in the image of God.
This is why Chist will reign for a 1000 years with the resurrected  Israel  and the church of Christ which all belong to the same tree the tree of knowledge.
At the end of the millennium  everything  will be handed back to the Farther which is the end of creation man ( mankind ) in the image of God everyone loving  God and each other and able to look after this wonderful creation God has created for us.

Love and Peace
Dave

All Matt 24:14 is saying is that the gospel will be preached to all the world before Jesus returns.
It says nothing about everybody getting a second chance durring what ever the millennium is.

Hi John
Thanks for you input

Mat 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

As we see it says nothing about the gospel being preached before Christ comes we can safely  say there are millions who have never heard of Christ in the past and even today the only time this prophecy can come true is in the millennium.

Love and Peace

Hi John
This is very true he preached the gospel firstly to Israel who rejected him that is the priesthood  and ruling classes.
After his crucifixion and resurrection he commissioned  his twelve apostles to go into the world and preach the gospel  to everyone Jew and gentile.
But they did not reach the whole world at that time but they left the gospel message in there writings and these have spread to the whole world over the last 2000 year's

Mat 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come

So I think the above prophecy  has bean fulfilled  in our time.

Love and Peace
Dave

That is not what you were writing in post 51. There you said the gospel hadn't been preached.

You need to think about what you are posting.

What is meant by this is the Gospel was not preach until Christ came then after his Crucifixion and resurrection the Gospel would be preached to the whole world.
