I expect all people know its not talking about giving pearl to pigs. Pearls are pearls of wisdom just as the gates are gates of learning so the pearly gates are where you learn about the Lord with Spiritual wisdom which teaches you about the kingdom of heaven. But swine, swine are people that tread the word of God under foot. So this just means they are people that take the word in earthly form , not being shawed with the gospel of peace. Its been written where they say it was an abomination to the Lord when the people put the blood of swine over the altar. The blood is the man's life and his life is his teachings and beliefs.  So when a man preaches he is also making an offering to the Lord and teaching without the council of the Spirit is the  abomination they are speaking off. Paul says be shawed with the gospel of peace. The Lord spoke to Moses and told him to remove his sandles because the earth he stood on was holy. Holy ground is not a peace of dirt. It is earthly teachings where the teachings have been translated into holy teachings. Holy things or hallowed are things in the resemblance of God or teachings in their full manifestation. raised up or elevated into their heavenly understanding. If the teachings are not, just as dirt makes a man's feet dirty, unclean teachings or the thoughts of the ungodly are as the dust of the earth. This is what it is to clean each others feet, to remove the sinful understanding from each other and this is the washing of the feet. But the swine, they stand on the earthly understanding but not upright as a man, he comes a crouching like a four legged beast and the name swine was a pretty good choise because the also wollow in the mud just as the mud is the river of unclean teachings. They walk in the mirely clay. When the priest made the offering to the Lord the smoke rises and the remaing are the filthly ashes, thrown into the street but even this isn't speaking litteraly.

yes thanks Colin ,

This verse relates to  Matthew 7:6

"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may
trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces

And the context of this verse is

Do Not Judge

?4Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the mote out of your eye; and, behold,
a beam is in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and
then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye.

This is a metaphor specifically about throwing meat from the temple sacrificing to the dogs
on the street that were seen as unclean and would be more understand by those from the "eastern
countries"

It can also be a metaphor relating to "pearls" of great price

This verse is more often used by people in the wrong way and can be aimed at Gods own people

Misuse of Gods word is something that we are accountable for, if we knowingly and continue in
this way

In affect by doing this we reverse the scripture upon oursleves

This verse relates to the beam or plank in an eye seeing anothers beam or plank

Now earlier I had this come to me whle contemplating

You see the dogs were unclean "to the Jews"

The swine were unclean "to the Jews"

Cross reference to Matthew 15:26-27

He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs."

"Yes it is, Lord," she said. "Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table."

also apply this to Luke 16:21

And this suddenly came to me earlier this afternoon ..you see go to Acts 10:1-43

And glance specifically at Acts 10:15 ?Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.?

this is peters vision of the sheet

Yes Salvation for the gentiles  Titus 1:15

this is why it is put into the context of "Do Not Judge and the plank in the eye"

I double checked this realisation against biblical references and it seems to be correct

Jesus was not on about literal dogs there Alien. It`s a well known fact that the Jews referred to gentiles as dogs. Although you could say that when you mention pigs, it is in the literal sense, but not so with dogs. But I suspect that you already know this, but failed to mention that the referring to dogs was metaphorical.

Greetings, all

I have read in Bible commentaries that the pigs and dogs refer to real enemies of the gospel,
and not to other people who are just not ready to believe for some reason,
or who just were not elected to believe, which ever way you look at it.
