They let me out 6 months early at 15 1/2 so work that one out

You weren't the only one. I think in previous times you could leave at different ages.

I left school somewhere in the 1980's and I hadn't turned 16 (I was 15 and a bit), but I was in my last year of school, some days I only had to go in if I had an exam.

I was one of those that were the first year to take the GCSE exams too, things were a tad lax/confused at the school I attended in regard to those exams. I think all most cared about was getting a grade C or above as that was equivalent to the previous 'O' levels.

Optional Meal Plan

Most students don't use 100% of their meal plan, and reimbursement isn't an option.

Trap strays take to have them spayed or neutered but for god sakes pick them back up and real ease them where they were , with their family in the beautiful backyarf

We had a mom , dad and three little kittens living a wonderful life in our beautiful backyard for two summers and 2-3 litters. We didn't have any animals and it wasn't fenced in but it was cool in summer from all the trees and foil age to hide in and during bad weather they got under the house I'm pretty sure. They were very scared of people even the kittens but it was so nice to watch from the door and see them all frolicking around the big freshly mowed grass . Then I mention to the apt owner, AKA my mum so she went and got cages and put food in their ands first trapped the daddy cat. Then two babies, barely weaned. She took to shelter but she just dropped them off by then the mom cat and remaining kitten had disappeared and still haven't seen her but I'm so mad my mom just dropped them off. I tried to explain that you trap either and release if it's s great area in same place if not replace them in the cemetery or something there was always clean water as one of our ursine faysets dripped so my sis and I put a bowl under it so they had a constant supply of clean water. It is a perfect sanctuary for s wild cat family. They weren't bothering anyone, most the neighborhood didn't ever see them. But know the momma lost her male and two of her babies because of my mothers stupidity and stuborness. We'll need less to say mama cat got the word around because even if we put food out in the garden no cat has come around our garden or backyard again and the male, the male is still at the shelter unable to be adopted and I think they did adopt the kittens who knows there is like 40 black cats that are wild living their lives in the shelter cause they are so afraid of people. Well I don't blame them with people like my mum around that don't get the concept of trap and release programs. So please people educate yourselves on this and sign the petition?????the took care of the mouse problem the bugs, etc

Napping 24 Hours A Day Boosts Mental Faculties And Memory

First of all, Glenn Beck is commenting for your beliefs of others as the sign of not a coherent individuals? The man who basically believes that President barack obama is in fact, the reborn Adolf Hitler? This man who believes that Obama's policies are as bad as being burned alive with occurrences of theft? This man dares lecture anyone on Mental Health? Now, Bush wasn't in command of 9/11, he was merely that professional. I don't agree with the Communist Manifesto but that does not necessary make someone who likes it, less than coherent. There less coherent books, lots of of options ones are that are praised by politicians routine in this country.http://megacleanseradvice.com/biotrust-brain-bright/

Hundreds of Cattle Starving in Nevada - They Need Your Help!

Hundreds of Cattle Starving in Nevada - They Need Your Help!

Sponsors: Animal Legal Defense Fund; Annoula Wylderich, Rob MrowkaPresently, cattle are languishing and perishing in the driest desert in North America, Nevada’s Gold Butte area. They are literally wasting away and suffering from starvation, while no one seems to care. It’s time for this to change.Since the early 1990s, cattle have been left to fend for themselves in the desert after Cliven Bundy, a private rancher, lost his privilege to graze on federal public lands that belong to all Americans. This once- small herd of around 150 animals has grown to hundreds or more over the course of 20+ years and now badly exceeds the ability of the land to feed and nourish them. They range over an immense area about half the size of the state of Rhode Island. While the area is large, it only receives about 4 inches of precipitation a year and vegetation is very sparse.Federal bureaucrats are not prioritizing the welfare of these poor animals, and the State of Nevada, which owns the majority of them as unbranded feral animals, is doing even less. Please sign our petition to the federal and state governments demanding timely action be taken to provide for and remove these animals to a safe haven before the sweltering summer strikes. Nevada’s anticipated triple-digit temperatures and this drought-stricken area will pose more suffering for these animals soon. Also, please share this with your friends! “Kindness and compassion towards all living things is a mark of a civilized society.”- Cesar ChavezLetter to Responsible Officials:To: Neil Kornze, Director, Bureau of Land Management Brian Sandoval, Governor, State of NevadaRegarding: Starving cattle at Gold Butte, NVDear Sirs:I am horrified and dismayed that a thousand or more cattle are being left to fend for themselves and starve in the area known as Gold Butte in Nevada. The area receives only 4 inches of precipitation a year and is the driest desert in North America, often experiencing temperatures above 105 degrees in the summer. These poor creatures were abandoned in the early 1990s and are spreading out over an ever increasing area in search of the sparse vegetation. What’s more, these cattle are competing with native wildlife in the area for food. Whatever vegetation the livestock eat, is vegetation that is not available for desert tortoise and other native wildlife for nourishment as well as for cover from predators. It is not hard to visit the area and witness the poor plight of these animals as the attached pictures show. Besides starvation, these animals are also experiencing the debilitating effects of inbreeding. The Bureau of Land Management has not satisfactorily addressed the welfare and plight of these animals over a 20+ year period. The state of Nevada has done even less, despite owning a majority of the animals and having legal responsibilities under state laws.I join the multitude of voices calling for the end of suffering of these animals, and call for a gathering of them before the heat of summer strikes. The Bureau and State should work with animal welfare groups pursuant to Nev. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 569.031 ("The Department may enter into a cooperative agreement for the management, control, placement or disposition of the [feral or estray] livestock with [a]....nonprofit organization.") who have already offered to help place the cattle at sanctuaries.Sincerely,Name

Recognition to veterans who earned the Air Medal while in combat operations by issuing a California License Plate with the Air Medal displayed

The California Department of Motor Vehicles has allowed the issue of distinguished plates for veterans who are well deserving of a license plate that displays their association with a unit or high level award. This has been accomplished through CALVET and is a great program for veterans. Other states have recognized the Air Medal as such an award that many California veterans have been awarded for combat missions, special operations and combat search and rescue missions while in aerial flight. This is a unique skill set and many have risked their lives to receive this award while serving with combat units. Although rare, the Air Medal is also awarded to aviators in response to assist in natural disaster sites and rescuing stranded and isolated citizens of this great State of California. I urge you to sign the petition to honor our California Veterans who have risked much for others.
