I try to kid myself that i DONT hang onto things, but as my life progresses and i move along the way, things rear their ugly head sometimes, that clearly show i havent 'let go and let God' in that particular area.

If you worry a lot, then day after day you are learning how to worry even better. If you think about doing something a lot, then you are learning how to think about doing. Every moment you are happy, you are learning how to be even happier. Every time you act, you are learning how to take an action even better. What is it that you've been learning today? What is it that you want to learn tomorrow?

Got this as my message today, on an app i have...this is all a part of it too, i think sometimes we choose to hang onto things because we are scared or fear what life will be like without it......ultimately its losing control, which is hard for humankind

God responds in stories, reminding me of the ladder that Jacob saw in His dream, of angels ascending and descending. ?I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised.? Genesis 28:15

Yes with me its more like holding onto things because it suits me, because in some strange way it benefits me at this moment in time
