Well everything can be against us ,

theres good reason why certain the powers that be would want to destroy anyone who is "In the image of Jesus"

The forces and the enemy destroyed the body of Jesus on the Cross as God knew they would, this being the redeeming sacrifice to bring many sons to glory

All that was left was a cloth Luke 24:12 of linen (O that I would have nothing but the cloth left)

In the same way we Matthew 10:28 have much against us BUT Jesus has overcome the world ...therefore we are overcomers Romans 8:37

Not that we fly over problems and somehow are taken up and away from all these things, but that when all is said and done we will endure and perservere Matthew 24:13 , so that in all things God can say to us "well done my good and faithful servant"  Romans 5:4

Are we, all of us here, already overcomers as Jesus was an overcomer?

What did Jesus overcome and what needs to be overcome in us?

I need to be overcome in me

Amen, sister! It is the "old man" in each of that needs to die, that needs to be overcome, finally and completely.

Romans 8:37

John 16:33

well I can take a scripture like "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me"

Well I can't unless I am "In Christ" and even then only as I am in His will / within His character

There are many things that God cannot do

But hither back to the subject ..

And at this point lets refer to "Job" as he sits with his "companions" and despairs of life

Do I as a comforter say to Job "You are more than a Conqueror through God who strengthens you ?"

What I'm saying is "how can I be an overcomer when God has permitted a  "Job attack"

It is not me who overcomes but God

What I'm saying is "how can I be an overcomer when God has permitted a  "Job attack"

It is not me who overcomes but God

And what is it that is within us?

"Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" Col 1:26-27

What Jesus overcame in His own flesh, He can also overcome in you or in me, if we will allow it. We do too often get in the way.
