I,ll popin a short kinda thingy doda I did once firstly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EVEN ANGELS WILL FALL
PART ONE
Gloria in excelsis Deo.... in latin is ......"Glory to God in the highest" The hymn begins with the words that the angels sang when the birth of Christ was announced
to shepherds in Luke 2:14.
et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis
or in other words... and on earth peace to people of good will.
............................
Quote
Psalm 91 (New International Version, Read the whole of Psalm 91
Lets focus on 11 For he will command his angels concerning you  to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,  so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. .....................
Out of Control
....................
Now when you have finshed reading this I want you to close your eyes and use your imagination.
When you see an "X" close your eyes and go through this scenario in your mind.........
Imagine for one moment you are on shoreline and you are gazing out to the sea, and as you gaze out at the ocean you are looking down and you notice the water lapping at your feet
You breathe in the fresh ocean air and step forward to lean down and you scoop up a palm of
water, imagine for one moment that this palm of water is all the knowledge you will be able to
obtain in a lifetime,
Imagine for one moment this is the love that is imparted to you during you
lifetime...imagine for one moment this is all the revelation you will be able to obtain in a lifetime.
Now in your imagination as you have your eyes closed...walk into the ocean and fell the water
lapping to and fro at your feet and go deeper and deeper...scary is'nt it ?
Imagine that this ocean is God......
Now you dive in and you begin to swim at the mercy of the sea and its currents, you believe
you are in control ...don't you ? and you are to a certain extent, you have to swim to keep
afloat...don't you?...
.
But really its the water that is in control, you seem to be controlling what is happening but in fact the you are at the mercy of the ocean and its currents
.
And as you swim back , you sit on the shore in the sunlight and wonder at the beauty of this day................"X"
.......................................
Stand Strong
As an infant 0f 6 -7 years of age my mum would take me to school which seemed like a very long distance at the time
.
Accross a busy road and down to the shops and all the way along a mian road until finally we got to the School
.
But as I grew slightly older I noticed that instead of mum taking me all the way to school she would leave me at the school gate
.
Then as time progressed she would leave me at the other side of the main road and once I got to around 8 years of age I noticed that mum simply waved goodbye from the door of our house
.
It took a while before I began to get used to this, but as time went on I realised that I was able to go to school on my own
.
I knew that mum was always there if I needed her and she was always there with me really, even though it seemed like I was on my own .
Because I had a bit of her in me and a part of me was in her .
As time progressed the same thing happened time and time again , until one day I was able as an adult to stand Psalm 91:11
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
.................
EVEN ANGELS WILL FALL
..................
I was seeking what the next message would be  ?
And Im going to,let you into a secret.....shhh
I had the scripture about angels worshipping around the throne of God ?
Quote
Revelation 7:11
All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and
the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
and so I had "Angels" come to mind
I looked at the next  Psalms and Psalm 91 and particularly verse 11
MMmmmm angels
That night I sat down to watch tv (which is not very often) oo a strange series about
......."Angels"
That tv programme I watched was about feathers appearing as a sign that angels had been
? well I thought angels and feathers noo, so while clenaing a floor I find a white feather, "000
come on, this must be coincidence, Im just looking for things now yeahhhhhhhhh, thats the
answer"
So sunday comes and off to Church I go. yooo hoooo
So the person reads out
Revelation 7:11
At the start of the service ...mmmm okay
.
Then they start talking about "angels"  ooo
Then a person got up and gave a testimony about "Three Angels"
These being people who were sent to help "being Angels"
ooooooooo
Okay I think the next message is about ...................yes
"ANGELS"
...............................................
Did he jump , or Was he pushed ?
...............................................
You know ee all like to take control of things don';t we ? we like to think and believe that we
are in control , that we can sort things out !
I used to think I was in control until some five years ago when things suddenly went crazy and
it seemd like things had gone completely out of my control
I had it all sussed you know ? I had everyhting in its proper place and neat and tidy and thats
how I  like it to be, I had things put into place JUST incase anything ever went wrong...
Funny you know but those things fell to pieces when they were put to the test ?
Sometimes it can seem like we are in a freefall and one thing happenes and then the next and one
thing affects the other like an avalanche and before we know it everything seems to be falling
around us and "HELLLPPPPPPPP"
When we jump out in faith as Christians we may  no longer be relying  on our own ability or
natural inclinations...when we do something in the Lord it may not be "the norm" to us
We might even be doing something that goes against our usual careful planning and ways
We may be doign soemthing that goes against our way of doing things, when you jump out
with God into new things it may not be what we even want
It may just happen !! you had'nt planned it !! you were kind of "PUSHED"
Did you jump ? or were you pushed ?
You have free will to decide the answer ! [/size]
2 Peter 2:4-5
4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell,a putting them in
chains of darknessb to be held for judgment; 5if he did not spare the ancient world when he
 brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah,
Now thats an interesting verse and always remember never to take a verse on its own
1.  = 4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned
2. = God did not die on a Cross to bring slavation to angels but only to the "World"
that is "Humanity" hence Jesus became fully human (not fully angel like)
3, =  there can be no shedding of blood for the salvation of Angels
.................................
Question = Now heres one for seekers like me and theologians like others
Pulls me out of my nice mindset
Read 1 Timothy 5:21 The  election of Angels ? elect here is  εκλεκτοι
This could be used by some to preach salvation for angels
ELECTED AND CHOSEN
But this election εκλεκτοι ~ separates those who rebelled and fell from Gods grace ,  from those angels who stayed with God and remained faithful (now relate this to Christian relational aspects)
And this brings into play the word "Chosen" before the world was formed but referring to
angelic beings, but however I do not believe this indicates "salvation" why ?
Quote
1 Peter 1:12
Even the holy angels are struck with astonishment at the plan of human redemption, and justly
wonder at the incarnation of that infinite object of their adoration.
So  God elects people to  salvation and nothing can
separate "them" from God?s love Romans 8:38-39 -
whereas the angels (those elect angels) are already with God and in His Love
We can therefore assume  that the angels who rebelled were not  elected by God.
In Gods foreknowledge He knew those who would stay and remain "chosen" - "faithful" ~ elected
...................
As we know the days of fallen angels  are numbered Matthew 8:29 and there is an alotted time
and appointed time for them to be accountable before God
...........................
THEREFORE we can assume that :
When it comes to angels
the words "Chosen" and "elect" are separate from the word "salvation"
As indeed people can be elected for leadership or chosen by God for a role , BUT not be "Saved", as these words do not necessarily mean "salvation"
- knowing that salvation also has many derivatives and variations eg : saved from a situatiion - saved from death - saved from eternal death - second death _ saved from judgement and so on,
Consider angels and messengers. The source word in scripture is often the same. John the Baptist is called a "messenger" in most translations in the following verse:
"For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee." Matt 11:10
The same Greek word which refers to John the Babtist in that verse in the KJV is translated 179 times in the NT as "angel" and only 7 times as "messenger".
The same difficulty occurs in the OT for the Greek word  for "angel" used in the following verse:
"And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur." Gen 16:7
The same source word in the OT is translated 111 times as "angel", 98 times as "messenger", and 4 times as "ambassadors"...
We should not assume that "angels" are always the "heavenly kind" sent as messengers by God, or physical men sent as messengers by God.
Not considering this distinction can be at times problematic. A fallen angel can be a preacher like Jimmy Swaggert, who apparently was sent as God's messenger (angel) and then by his misconduct fell from God's grace.
thanks Amadeus   :)
Yes even Jesus was a messenger ! But He cannot repent Numbers 23:19
"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent;
Parrellel with Angel |~ angels (cannot repent)
Revelation 22:16
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
excellent
