Were Adam and Eve created perfect? What I mean to say is, were they created spiritually or morally perfect? If so, then how did they fall into sin?

Yes good topic starter

I suppose the same can be said as to "satan" Ezekiel 28:15  was created perfect and he sinned (yes I know that ezekiel is about tyre and its kingdom) but its an interesting analogy

Sorry to answer a question with a question, your topic had me think......were they created spiritual in the beginning and then had to become physical for the purposes of aging and death and reproduction, as reproduction didnt happen til they were banned, or were they always physical form?

Created physical / flesh from the earth but God breathed soul/Spirit

Fully sustained by God, regenerating= no death

It would seem to me that reproduction is something that was going on before the fall, for God said to Eve "I will greatly increase you pangs in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children" Genesis 3:16-17. So this was a punishment for her disobedience. And If God increased the pain of childbirth because of her sin, then there must have been reproduction before the fall.
But back to the matter at hand. I don`t think that God made Adam and Eve perfect, and for this reason. If he had made them perfect, then there could not have been free will, and free will is paramount in a love based relationship. Again, if they had been made perfect and infallible, then they would of been like robots, having no choice other than to do what their maker had programmed them to do. So to truly have a choice, you have to have the ability to choose either way. God of course can do no evil, but in my humble opinion he created us a little less than himself, because after all, he is God, and were are the creatures. So we had to be created imperfect in order to be able to choose between good an evil, and maybe more importantly, to be able to choose to love God or not. God alone is perfect, and so it must be so.

Terry,
I think you may have inflated that a bit.  ;)

here is a perfect example why we must not just read Scriptures but read very carefully and be  aware and study and understand and know what we are reading - Genesis says Adam was created very good but it says no such thing about Eve,and so the devil found Adam's achilles heel and it has been  and is there to this day - also notice Scriptures at Genesis says male and female He created He them at Genesis 1 but Eve was not created till Genesis 2 for those who think and wrongly accept that what is described in Genesis 2 came after Genesis 1 - wincam

So let me be clear on what you are saying. Adam was created perfect, but at the same time he had an Achilles heel. I`m afraid you are contradicting yourself there. But of course, nobody reads scripture like you, do they.
