So then what is the purpose of pain? Is it not to alert us to a difficulty in our own body that needs attention? Does  being an overcomer mean that all difficulties have been eliminated?

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Rev 21:4

No I'm sure it does'nt

I believe it means that we can go through the difficulties without too much kicking and screaming on the way

In other words "Its not what we go through ....but how we go through it"
