When I was squinting against the sun yesterday and too lazy to get my sunglasses out it made me think.
Back in the days of Jesus it seems there were many, many blind people, so we are told...
probably from sun damage and it's reflection on water and sand.

As God knew that our eyes can be damaged so easily I wonder why He didn't give mankind a built in protection. Yet He didn't. In the Garden He said " And it was good." Needed no improvement.
It is wonderful that Jesus could heal them all, but would have be even better if they had protection in the first place.

Now I am thinking that maybe there is a deeper spiritual picture here..( I am sure if Colin stays around for a while, he would have some input for us! )

what about window cleaners ? they get the reflection from the sun ? from windows  (when the sun shines that is)

I suppose we have all asked the question "why did God create free will ?"

Satan would never have fallen, we would never have been born into a fallen world and no need for a Savour

In fact why even create "earth "  in the first place , why not just have us in heaven as we will be without all this

so maybe there is a deeper meaning

what do you think colin

I hope for you and all of us here, this forum that God keeps us healthy enough to see it threw, this what we wish to do for him. Still hellen, you know me. Let this physical body come to its end as we all will but pray for others that their eyes be opened to the majesty of God's kingdom. Let us be good in the sight of God decerning good from evil. People spoken of being blind in the bible are like people in utter darkness. When they come to the true light their eyes are opened and blindness is no more. Let us be the ones who give insight to the things of God and in this way we glorify Jesus because the these things are his and only come from him. If the Lord opens our eyes it is not to be hidden, that light is for his people. Jesus said , you will know mine because of their eyes. We should understand it means we see things threw his eyes. Not as this world sees them but as he shows them. Sorry I haven't been around for a bit, had a few problems that are being straightened out. ( I waisted my money and couldn't pay some bills ) I have certainly been humbled the last little while. Now I'm just a humble servant of the Lord.
