Because men love following men, people love to say I did it, ( the flesh ), people love to know about things, many christian just never get to know the reality of God,My sheep hear my voice is lost, the Holy Spirit forgotten replaced by mens schools who teach you about there ides of who God is, coming into the " knowledge " of Him but never " knowing " him. The school of Christ is a one on one, you and Him no others please.

In All His Love

Do you know Him?

Yes. (I don't like the implications of these 'kick-off' posts for first entry into a new forum....they suggest an 'agenda' to me)

Actually, I still have not heard your answer addressing the question I asked.  Simply "Chatting!!" about poorly educated Christians does not say why there are needed Seminaries, Bible Schools, Christian Universities, and even the record of Scripture if God only needs weak and foolish Servants.

"Study to show thyself approved unto God" says that God in fact needs informed and skilled people.

I'll leave that one to Amadeus.

If God chooses the most unqualified to be in service to Him, why then are needed Bible Schools, Seminaries, Christian Universities, and even a Scriptural record of Jesus discipling The Twelve?
I am not speaking against bible schools, seminaries etc. but these scriptures answer your question for me. 1Cor. 1:26 For you see also your calling my brethren, that not many among you are wise in the flesh, neither are many among you mighty, neither are many among you children of a great family line. 27 For God has chosen the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and he has chosen the weak of the world to shame the mighty.28  And he has chosen those of low descent in the world and the rejects and those who are nothing, to nullify those who are, 29 That no one will boast before him.

This in a way reminds me of something that happened a long while ago.

A Pilot who was also a trainee approver, or whatever, he taught other airline pilots, once asked the question of the class, "while flying in a small one engine plane over the jungles of south America, what type of Pilot would you choose.
An experienced pilot or an anointed pilot, most chose the anointed pilot.
The instructor replied that the correct answer was an anointed experienced pilot.

This might derail this discussion, I thought it had some relevance.

James

Ps Cathey put in a post as I was writing so this may now not fit at all

Jesus' Agenda remains the only one worth pursuing and speaking about.

Scripture says nothing about "kick off posts."  Blaming other peoples' words for one's perception of supposed "implications" is not Godly.

Does God need the wisdom produced by Seminaries, Bible Schools, Christian Universities, and the conclusions of Bible Pundits?

I don't think that's what I said and if you read the scriptures posted you have your question answered.
I think maybe it needs to be mentioned that this is not a forum for the kind of debate that exists on most forums. We reason together and give a reason for the hope and faith that we have but we do this with meekness and respect. We endeavor also to encourage and build each other up in the faith and this is why this forum has become an oasis for many of us here.
