So why did you say you don't know how to answer when you said that it meant something other than the tomb?

It took me a while to work out the question and I was seeing all possibilities and it just opened up when you and others posted.
Just be pleased you got some answers eventually. Better late than never. :D

Probably the topic needs to be studied thoroughly before a vote is decided.

The Spirit is different to the soul.  The Bible lists all 3...body, soul and spirit. The spirit really is eternal, perpetual.  Has no need for sleep or awake, day or night, time is irrelevant for it.

I guess I thought the folks visiting this forum would be Christians who were familiar with the crucifixion account and would have already formed opinions about it.

Of course Christians know the crucifixion account. Not everybody knows for surety if Jesus descension was the tomb or other and guess they would rather know for sure.

Hi

40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Why on earth do we have to vote on something that is as plain as the nose on your face Christ was in the tomb a place of burials or if you prefer the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights.

You can vote as much as you like it won't change this fact

Love and Peace
Dave
