Hi Tara, I'm impressed that you read the posts on this forum and have been for a long time and every so often contribute. I see you as an intelligent person.

I do think that Dave made a great point that there is more definite proof of God, than anything else. Also the criteria for proof of God is not always in terms of what is validated as proof in human terms.

A powerful way is seeing God in creation. His beauty and divine attributes can be seen in the beauty of sunsets, trees and creatures etc.

A long time ago I searched for the truth in very complicated ways but found in the end it was in simple ways and obvious ways. That give peace.

Hi @Primrose ,

Thanks for your kind comments.  I will get back to you once I find out if my reply has worked.  I?ve written the equivalent of a short novel, with my repeated attempts to reply 😆

Hi Tara
Thank you for your reply I have not proven your point at all jest how impossible it is tell me for instance how the most complicated mas in the universe the human brain made it's self.

As for God working over long periods of time our Lord proves this when he said

But Jesus answered them, ?My Father is working until now, and I am working.?
John 5:17 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.5.17.ESV

So if the Father has been working from the beginning of time up to the time of Christ it means he has not rested and that his Sabbath rest is a future event which we who believe can enter into it

For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: ?And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.? And again in this passage he said, ?They shall not enter my rest.? Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,
Hebrews 4:4-‬6 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/heb.4.4-6.ESV

My contention is that Gods sabbath rest is Christs millennial reign the Father hands everything oner to the son to finish the creation.
All evolution dose is supports Gods creation which has been going on since the beginning of time to the present day as the bible teaches us.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi @davetaff,

My point was, you will reject any evidence for evolution, by saying it?s not in the bible.  Have you not more or less just done that?

My point is proven.

Hi Tara, can you write your post somewhere else and copy and paste here.

Sorry can't offer much more help than that because I don't know much about the technical side.
