The answer to the OP is thus:
1) Paul dealt with this, that Jesus had bought in a new dispensation for gentiles. And
2) Read the answer given to this question: Luke 5:33
And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

Only God can make clean - that which is unclean ..

Re; Acts 10:15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."

The basic message here is that "God has the final say" not the Pharisees.

He knows individual  hearts..

It.s getting cold - get the heating on... :great:

yeah it was good for people to drink ATT - as Jesus turned water into wine .

water ATT was not good to drink..

Hence Jesus came at them in a different way - by saying "I am the living water" the basics of life..
