Hi
Moving on

Therefore they could not believe. For again Isaiah said, ?He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.?
John 12:39-‬40 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.39-40.ESV

Who is he is it God that has blinded them seems strange don't you think or is it satan.
Hard to know we know that Israel had to reject Christ and kill him so was it God who blinded them so that his plan would be realised or was it satan playing into God's hand.
The question is would the God of love stop anyone coming to him.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi
Moving on

Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him. Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.
John 12:41-‬43 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.41-43.ESV

It's marvellous that Isaiah had been shown these thing hundreds of years before and tat Christ had fulfilled them to the letter.
As we see here there were many of the authorities who believed in Christ but were afraid to say so I wonder how many today believe secretly and are afraid to say so in case they get laughed at and made fun of but I think its important to stand up and confess our belief that Jesus Christ is the son of God.

Hi
Moving on

And Jesus cried out and said, ?Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.
John 12:44-‬46 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.44-46.ESV

So if we believe in Christ then we believe in the Father if we see him in the scriptures we see the Father he is the son of the Father and when he comes and is united with his bride he will be the image of our heavenly Father.
Our Lord is the light of the world and to believe in him is to walk in his glorious light so let us remain in that light.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi
Moving on

If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment?what to say and what to speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.?
John 12:47-‬50 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.47-50.ESV

So we see here that it's Gods word that will judge us so we will do well to study what it says all the words of scripture comes from the Father through Jesus Christ so let us study them from Genesis to revelations they all lead to eternal life so all the words of scripture comes to us from the Father through Jesus Christ so let us give them the Love and respect they deserve what God is offering us is eternal life in his presence.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. During supper, when the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon?s son, to betray him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,
John 13:1-‬3 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.13.1-3.ESV

Here we are told that Christ knew what awaited him he was about to leave this world to be with the Father but before that was to happen he had the trial of the crucifixion to go through this was to show how much he loved his own and not only them but also how much he loved the world.
We also see here the devil at work trying to thwart Gods plan but unwittingly playing into God's hands the, lamb of God had to be sacrificed and the only one who could do this was Israel the older brother kills the younger brother as we are told in Genesis.

Hi
Moving on

rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples? feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him. He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, ?Lord, do you wash my feet?? Jesus answered him, ?What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.?
John 13:4-‬7 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.13.4-7.ESV

Here we see our Lord humbling him self by washing the Decipels feet proving he came to serve not to be served and to humble himself.

Mat 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted

And we know Christ would be exalted to the right hand of God there is an important lesson to be learned here.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Peter said to him, ?You shall never wash my feet.? Jesus answered him, ?If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.? Simon Peter said to him, ?Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!? Jesus said to him, ?The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.? For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, ?Not all of you are clean.?
John 13:8-‬11 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.13.8-11.ESV

Apart from the fact that Christ is humbling himself what is this washing all about I think its symbolic of being washed with the water of the word of God this is what truly cleanes us so let us emers ourselves  in this water of the word of God and wash away our sins that soils our bodies.

Hi
Moving on

When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, ?Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another?s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.
John 13:12-‬15 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.13.12-15.ESV

Do we understand what our Lord has done he has humbled himself as a servant although he is their Lord and master and he has given them and us an example to follow which is the exact opposite of what the world tells us which is self first.
So let us follow our Lord example and humble our selves before our fellow man and in so doing show Gods love to our fellow man.

Love and Peace
