Hi
Moving on

His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about him and had been done to him. The crowd that had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to bear witness. The reason why the crowd went to meet him was that they heard he had done this sign. So the Pharisees said to one another, ?You see that you are gaining nothing. Look, the world has gone after him.?
John 12:16-‬19 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.16-19.ESV

Even now after all that Christ had done still his deciples had difficulty understanding everything he said and done but they understand after the resurrection when the holy spirit was given.
Those who had seen Lazarus raised from the dead were still giving witness and that was the reason crowds were coming to see Jesus hoping to see a mirical but the greatest miracle he gave us was the word of God which gives us eternal life.
But the Pharisees were far from happy they were afraid of looking their standing in the community and unknowingly gave a prophecy when they said, " Look, the world has gone after him.? how very true this was.

Hi
Moving on

Now among those who went up to worship at the feast were some Greeks. So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, ?Sir, we wish to see Jesus.? Philip went and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus. And Jesus answered them, ?The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
John 12:20-‬23 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.20-23.ESV

Was these Greeks asking to see Jesus the first signs of what was to happen after the resurrection when the gospel would be preached to the whole worl
Was it the Greeks Jesus answered when he said the hour had come for him to be glorified and he knew exactly how he would be glorified not in a way anyone was expecting

Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

Not only for his friends but for a world of sinners as well.

Hi
Moving on

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
John 12:24 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.24.ESV

What a lovely little parable it explains perfectly what was going to happen to our Lord he would come down to the earth and die and this would produce much fruit the great body of believers we see today through out the world.
What our Lord was about to do was absolutely fantastic a gift of Love so amazing that would give eternal life to untold millions thank you Lord.

Hi
Moving on

Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
John 12:25-‬26 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.25-26.ESV

Not an easy passage to follow but I think it applies more to the early church the were hounded mistreated and killed by the Jews and the Romans but all through the history of the church there are those who have suffered and died and even today in some countries Christians are persecuted for there faith but they will all be rewarded for their faith.
So let us pray for our brothers and sisters who are suffering that the Father will strengthen them with the Holy Spirit

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

?Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ?Father, save me from this hour?? But for this purpose I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name.? Then a voice came from heaven: ?I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.? The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, ?An angel has spoken to him.?
John 12:27-‬29 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.27-29.ESV

Again our Lord indicates that he knew what was awaiting him and like any human being he was troubled and rightly so a most horrible death awaited him all this would be for the glory of our heavenly Father which was confirmed by the voice that came from heaven.

Hi
Moving on

Jesus answered, ?This voice has come for your sake, not mine. Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.?
John 12:30-‬32 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.30-32.ESV

The voice that came from heaven was for those standing there Christ knew exactly what was awaiting him.
Our Lord tells us what was soon to happen when he would be lifted up which points to his crucifixion it also may indicate his being lifted up to heaven.
Now the judgement of the world had come it would take a long time to be implemented as would the casting out of the ruler of the world satan.
And when our Lord is lifted up this can be seen as a double meaning when he is lifted up on the cross and when he his lifted up to heaven and today we can see the truth of his words.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. So the crowd answered him, ?We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?? So Jesus said to them, ?The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.? When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.
John 12:33-‬36 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.33-36.ESV

Again our Lord indicates what kind of death awaited him so they would know when it happened they would remember his words.
They asked him who is the son of man he did not answer them direct but referred to himself as the light and would only be with them a little while longer he is of course the light of the world and tells them to walk in the light because those who walk in darkness dose not know where they are going.
So let us follow our Lords advice and walk in his glorious light and become the sons of light I think these words would include  all daughters as well.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him, so that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: ?Lord, who has believed what he heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed??
John 12:37-‬38 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.12.37-38.ESV

After all the miricals Christ had performed raising the dead curing the blind they did not believe even today there are those who will not believe although we have eyewitness accounts to prove it they will not believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and they need to listen to what he says.
The words of Isaiah are very true even to day the arm of the Lord has been revealed to us through the preaching of our Lord and his Apostles so let us take more abundant heed to what they say.

Love and Peace
