Hi
Moving on

Jesus answered them, ?Did I not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.? He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray him.
John 6:70-‬71 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.6.70-71.ESV
]

All through scripture Christ had chosen certain people to do his work here on earth from Genesis right through to Malachi and even into the new creation he had chosen the twelve apostles and he even knew that one of them would betray him was this also part of the plan it was essential that he had to die for the sins of world.
His betrayal also mirrors what happened in Israel the tribe of Dan was rejected and the two sons of Joseph were grafted in.
When Judus was rejected Matthias and Paul were counted with the twelve  its interesting that much of what happens with Israel also Happens with Christ.

Hi
Moving on

After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would not go about in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him. Now the Jews? Feast of Booths was at hand. So his brothers said to him, ?Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples also may see the works you are doing. For no one works in secret if he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.? For not even his brothers believed in him. Jesus said to them, ?My time has not yet come, but your time is always here.
John 7:1-‬6 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.7.1-6.ESV

Jesus knew the Jews wanted to kill him so he avoided them his time to die had not come the time of his death and the way he would die was yet to come.
We also see here that not even his brothers believed who he was the son of God they were still looking for proof for miricals as many are today they will not believe the scriptures.
Our Lord reminds them his time had not yet come reminds us of the following.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

Hi
Moving on

The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil. You go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come.? After saying this, he remained in Galilee.
John 7:7-‬9 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.7.7-9.ESV

Why did the world hate him because he told the truth about it it was evil everything it did was evil and not much has changed today when we look at the world.
But God is working through Christ to change this and there are lots of good people out there doing good works to help their fellow man so let us join them and show the world there is a better way the way of love.

And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 22:39 ESV

Hi
Moving on

But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly but in private. The Jews were looking for him at the feast, and saying, ?Where is he?? And there was much muttering about him among the people. While some said, ?He is a good man,? others said, ?No, he is leading the people astray.? Yet for fear of the Jews no one spoke openly of him. About the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching. The Jews therefore marveled, saying, ?How is it that this man has learning, when he has n ever studied??
John 7:10-‬15 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.7.10-15.ESV

So our Lord goes up to the feast in private to avoid those who were looking for him he could not trust them it seam that the ordenary people were so afraid they could not openly speak about him for fear of the priest  and and ruling classes.
Then Jesus goes up into the temple and begins to teacomh and everyone marvled at the things he said and where he got his learning he did not get it from man but from his Father in heaven and these words we need to take to heart becaus  the give us eternal life.

Hi
Moving on

So Jesus answered them, ?My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. If anyone?s will is to do God?s will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority. The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood.
John 7:16-‬18 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.7.16-18.ESV

Jesus makes it plain that everyone he teaches comes from the Father they are the words of God which gives eternal life so we need to take them very seriously.
He was sent by the Father to glorify the Father and likewise he would send his apostles into world to preach the word of God to glorify God everything  comes from the Father through Christ.
And through his teaching we have access to Gods rest.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Has not Moses given you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why do you seek to kill me?? The crowd answered, ?You have a demon! Who is seeking to kill you??
John 7:19-‬20 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.7.19-20.ESV

Here our Lord faces his accusers with the law thou shalt not kill  it seams this law has bean abused throughout history our Lord knew who wanted to kill him and would kill him and he would go to his death without any resistance to make atonement for the sins of the world an act of great ĺove

Hi
Moving on

Jesus answered them, ?I did one work, and you all marvel at it. Moses gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. If on the Sabbath a man receives circumcision, so that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me because on the Sabbath I made a man?s whole body well? Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.?
John 7:21-‬24 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.7.21-24.ESV

What dose circumcision point to is it the removal of the flesh which will happen when our Lord returns and raises those who sleep in him and translates those who remain alive at his comming.
It seams evident that doing good on the Sabbath is acceptable I think this looks forward to the millennial reign of Christ which will be the fathers Sabbath rest.
And we are told not to judge by appearances but to judge what is right.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Some of the people of Jerusalem therefore said, ?Is not this the man whom they seek to kill? And here he is, speaking openly, and they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Christ? But we know where this man comes from, and when the Christ appears, no one will know where he comes from.?
John 7:25-‬27 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.7.25-27.ESV

Of course it was Christ him self who would decide when and were he would allow  them to kill him it was his decision not theirs and all according to the will of the Father.
There was a lot of indecision among the people the were not ready to commit to Jesus and to believe he is the son of God.

But they did Know where he would come from they had bean told

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/isa.7.14.ESV

And the second time he will come from heaven in all his power and glory to take up his rightful place as king of kings.

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
