Hi
Next section

?But woe   to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you   shut the kingdom of heaven in people?s faces. For you   neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.   Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell  as yourselves.
Matthew 23:13, ‬15 ESV

I wonder what our lord would have to say about all the leaders of the different  denominations  today all saying different  things instead of love and unity.
How can the ordenary  man take them seriously  when they cannot show love for one another  but fight and squabble  over trivial matters.
They all need to get back to what the scriptures say and do it the hierarchy  of the different denominations  need to humble themselves and learn to love one another and give a practical  lesson to the rank and file.

Love and Peace
Dave

Hi John
Thank you for your post I am not trying to teach anyone I am only giving my opinion on the scriptures I quote what is the most important  is the scriptures I quote Spreading Gods word on the Internet this is what is important.
We know the scriptures are the word of God and are the truth anything that comes after Reverlations should not be taken as the word of God.

Love and peace
Dave

Back this up with quotes Dave please.

Hi John
I think you will find I was speaking of the leaders of the different  denominations  not the rank and file I believe there are members of Christs body in all denominations God looks at the heart.

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body? Jews or Greeks, slaves or free?and all were made to drink of one Spirit.  For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
1 Corinthians 12:12-‬14 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/1co.12.12-14.ESV

All I am saying is all the heads of all the different denominations  need to swallow their pride and get together and love one another and follow the words of scripture.

Love and Peace
Dave

Dave, either back up your allegation of Christian leaders bickering or never make such false accusations.

Hi John
I apologise  if my post has ofended you maybe a bad choice of the word bickering.
May be I can rephrase  it there are thousands of different demominations sects what ever you like to call them all giving there own interpritation of scripture mostly it is over man made theology and doctoring all I am saying is they should put all these to one side and get back to the teachings of our Lord and his apostles.

The question is John which one of all these denominations should we believe how can we be sure they are teaching us the truth.
We only have one teacher and that is Christ and we also have his twelve  apostles  who he sent into world to preach his gospel as far as I know he has not sent anyone else.

Love and Peace

I spent his sort of reasoning from atheists. Dave please try and grow up and use adult reasoning.

What is incorrect in the teaching of the CoE, Methodists, Baptists, independent churches?
Are you really suggesting that you will join an established church organisation and subscribe to its doctrine. Do bare in mind I am not aware of Any church that believes what you promote here.

If you cannot substantiate your allocation please do not even think them, let alone post them.

Who has Jesus sent to proclaim the gospel? He has sent every Christian, it is what known as the Great commission.
We do not need apostles, prophets or messengers. We have the bible and the Spirit indwelling in us.

Yes there are churches that teach false doctrines, just as you teach weird beliefs that are not strictly orthodox Christianity.
We have to test what is being preached to us and avoid false teaching, it is part of the strong meat of the gospel.
