Its not about just churching out scriptures. It's genuinely about a relationship with God and then later knowing the scriptures that fit, what was revealed outside of the scriptures to us, in our  walk with God.

I'm not saying the Word of God is confined to just  the scriptures because there are those who think I'm saying that.
When I'm not.

Like others God spoke into my heart and then I saw a connection with what was written in the bible later. As it contains much and different aspects and angles. Much there and  not  always are exact words but the wisdom of God is in the bible.

If God revealed by His Spirit and it's judged as churching out scripture, then that is insulting to the Spirit of God and insulting about an intimate relationship that takes place between our spirit and the Spirit of God.

It's all about people's relationship with God and there is power in the Word of God and without the Spirit there is a form of godliness, denying the power.

How dare anyone suggest that's happening when it was God who spoke into the person's spirit and heart.

The Word of God knows the reasons for implementing the Word of God, which is why the Spirit of God is always needed with the Word of God.For without the Holy Spirit the Word of God can be misused.
For in God is all truth and He knows the motives of people.

Other people do not know them and their judgements of others motives will be incorrect, unless what they said was the Word of God revealed to them. Most of the time we won't know until everything is revealed, in the light of God.

Hi @Christianna,

Yes, and about sharing how the Lord has kept us, and met our needs in our daily lives.  How He has delivered us from the excesses of our old nature, and provided the means of escape from temptation, so that others may benefit from our own experience of God's superintending care in Christ Jesus.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus

With churning out scriptures. By no means was I referring to anyone here. :D

I meant that some people just quote them and it has no personal meaning to them.
Yet with many of us here and this thread it has meaning because it wasn't learnt parrot fashion but was revealed through our relationship with God.

Then later found as a back up in the bible, that others within their relationship with God also experienced and observed but expressed in a different way

Hi there, Christianna,

Thank you for explaining that, for I hadn't heard it before.  I know what you mean now.

Referring to God's Word in a discussion is the natural thing to do, isn't it?-  if it is God's word that is being discussed, or our relationship with Him.  Though there are some who find that annoying I know.

Within His love and grace.
Chris

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.'

(Col 3:16-17

Hello again,

The verses above show the place that the word of God has to have in our dealings with one another, as brothers and sisters in Christ, don't they?

One important truth that I feel is very important to each one of us, especially in these days of danger and uncertainty, is the need to praise God at all times.  For it is 'Praise' that keeps our hearts uplifted to Him, and keeps our minds stayed upon Him, so that we can overcome fears, and pain, and trial of all kinds.

'Rejoice in the Lord alway:
.. and again I say, Rejoice.
.... Let your moderation be known unto all men.
The Lord is at hand.
.. Be careful for nothing;
.... but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
...... let your requests be made known unto God.
........ And the peace of God,
.......... which passeth all understanding,
............ shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren,
.. whatsoever things are true,
.... whatsoever things are honest,
...... whatsoever things are just,
........ whatsoever things are pure,
.......... whatsoever things are lovely,
............ whatsoever things are of good report;
.............. if there be any virtue,
................ and if there be any praise,
.................. think on these things.
Those things, which ye have both learned,
.. and received, and heard, and seen in me, do:
.... and the God of peace shall be with you.'

(Php 4:4-9)

Praise God!

In Christ Jesus
Chris

Before I'm judged, I am fond on you all here and do think of you and pray. You were in my prayers Earthman.
