Hi TJ
Thank you for your post I don't  see the contradiction as for a new creation we have,

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/2co.5.17.ESV

The only creation I am talking about is the creation of man in the image of God there was one before the flood which was destroyed by the flood.
One after the flood which was Israel which was destroyed by the Romans in 70AD after they refused to accept their king Jesus Christ.
Then we have the new creation of man in the image of God Jesus Christ the last Adam which of course is a spiritual being the ones before were of the flesh and being as God is a spiritual being so will be mankind in his image.

Love and Peace

Hi
I think the problem lies in the word creation as soon as one mentions  that word people tend to think of the creation of everything but of course everything was created before  the flood and everything was destroyed in the flood except Noah and everything that was on the ark.

So was there anybody on the ark that was in the image of God the only one we can compare them with of course is Christ we know that Christ is the express image of God the Father so we we have to compare Noah with Christ.
When Christ came into the world as the son of man he and Noah were the same both men and righteous.
Then things change after the resurrection Christ becomes a spiritual being emortal he cannot die he is also called the bridegroom so therefore he must have a bride and the only one how fits the bill is the church but they will not be united until Christ returns to claim her.
So man in the image of God is Christ at his return he will be the Head of the body the church the church his bride will consist of thousands of individuals.
So Noah dose not resemble man in the image of God in any shape or form

Hi
Let's look at what God said about the man and woman that he created

Then God said, ?Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.?
Genesis 1:26 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/gen.1.26.ESV

Is it reasonable to believe that these two people who would have been very primitive to carry out the above would not be possible so God continues  with.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him;  male and female he created them.  And God blessed them. And God said to them, ?Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.?
Genesis 1:27-‬28 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/gen.1.27-28.ESV

So God commands the two to multiply and fill the earth so its mankind  as a whole who will have dominion over the world to look after Gods wonderful creation so its not one man and woman but it will be one man that is Christ and his woman the Church which is a multitude of people which will have dominion over Gods creation.

Hi
So man has never done up to now what God intended for mankind all man has done is built up their own little kingdoms and empires and in general just looked after their own interests but things will change with the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ who will take up his rightful place as King of Kings with his bride the Church he will put down all rule and will rule supreme for a thousand years at the end of which we will have Mankind in Gods image the fulfilment of Genesis.

Isaiah 46:10 (ESV)
declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ?My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,?

So the beginning is Genesis and the end is man in the image of God this will be achieved at the end of revelations when everything that has been created through Christ will be handed back to the Father who will create a new heaven and earth for us.

Hi
I would like to ask a question

Why has the church of man completely ignored the following verses.

Isaiah 46:10 (ESV)
declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ?My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high

It seams pretty simple to me God tells us the end from the beginning the end being man in Gods image.
In Hebrews he tells us that that man is Jesus Christ so Christ at his second comming is the end of creation.
So I ask again why has the church ignored these  verses.

Love and Peace

Hi
So no takers on that question so I will give my interpretation they don't need an interpretation they just mean exactly what they say which  is God will tell us everything he would do from the beginning to the end this is the creation account in Genesis the end being man in the image of God which is Jesus Christ.

This is confirmed in the quote from Hebrews where it states without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ is the express image of God and as such is the end of creation this is said of no other person in scripture.
Yes there were other Adams the one before the flood was destroyed in the flood the one after the flood Israel was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD which leaves us the last Adam which is Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hi
Let's consider the following

And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:25 ESV
https://bible.com/bible/59/gen.1.25.ESV

My question is was mankind included in everything that creeps on the ground if so mankind already existed when God said let us make man in our image.
If this is correct then it answers the question where Cain found his wife and where he found enough people to build a city.

There are words here I have trouble with the  word is our it indicates more than one then we have let them if Adam is just one man how can God say let them which indicates more than one.
So God created a helper for him a woman and they became one so was this woman in the same vain as the bride of Christ the church witch is a multitude of people of both sexes  was the first Adam created in the same vain as the last Adam Christ.
So man was created to look after the world but the opposite is happening

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth

Wonder how Moses could know that mankind could destroy the earth with global warming?
