How can it be a new creation when it was people from the original creation that repopulated the earth.  It is a repopulation done by people that was the best pick of the time, whilst the rest perished.  Also the planet itself wasn't created again.  If it was a new creation then would need to be a different planet.

Hi Serenity
Thank you for your reply but I think you have misunderstood what I have said in my previous post.
The onlything missing when Noah stepped of the ark was man in the image of God everything else existed the first Adam perished in the flood man in Gods image is not one man we are told who is the image of God it is Jesus Christ.

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high

This is said of no other person in the whole of scripture Christ is the man who is the image of God the Father and this will be realised at his second coming when he is united with his bride the church and they become one as stated in Genesis this is mankind in the image of God the Father.

The alternative is God created two cave people thousands of years ago the put his feet up and rested because there is nothing in scripture that says God started working again the only time he will start a new creation is after Christs millennial reign when he will create a new heaven and earth.

Christs millennial reign is the Fathers sabbath rest he hands everything over to Christ to finish the creation.

Love and Peace
Dave

Adam died before the flood and Noah who carried on after the flood was from the first Adam so the image of God carried on.

My wife got an elf - his name is sid [apparently]

I've been given the glorious, task of making "sid" alive for my grandson [apparently this is the thing to do - ATM.

O I hate mobiles amd the media  knit:  humbug..

So last night - I got "sid" to ride on top of my grandsons train - with a HO HO HO..

Tonight - I've got the "sid" the elf wearing a school tie [no idea why - but I'm just going along with this new thing]

So I've made up an email for him - so he can begin to experience his own comunication..

Sid  is  laying under a lamp and todays mesage is "1s =

"HO HO HO.

My Elves are so busy making your presents..

I am so pleased with you - especially with your maths.

Sid has even put on you school tie and is sitting under your lamp .

He so wants to be with you..

But where will he be tomorrow ?

Ho Ho Ho - lets see tomorrow"

Anyway - that's my focus tonight.. and every day until christmas.

This just instills a sense of "delight- new things- imagination - hope - anticiptaion"

This gives a child "new things to feed on every day an a wanting to getup and wakeup"

Yeah I mean I accept you as you are @davetaff .

You have no need to  prove anything or account for your belief [typings]

God accepts you as you are.. and loves you..

Hi Serenity
Thank you for your reply but like I have said many times before 1 man like Noah or me for that matter is not in the image of God although God has created mankind and all life forms on the planet man in the image of God is something else in the quote from Hebrews in my last post tells us exactly who is the Image of God its Jesus Christ United with his bride the church a great number of people not jest 1 human being.
When God said

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth

God says in our image which can only mean man in Gods image would be more than one.
Do you honestly believe that one man on is own could look after Gods creation no nor did God so he made a helper the woman and as we know Christ woman his bride the church consists of thousands of individuals so we know what man in Gods image looks like the last Adam.
So the first Adam would be created in the same way and this Adam was destroyed in the flood and it stands to reason that Noah on his own is not in the image of God.
When God said let us make man in our image it should be read as mankind in his Image when Christ has finished his millennial reign we will have mankind in the image of God with Christ Jesus our Lord as the head.
Creation is on going the crowning glory of God's creation is man in his image which is Christ at his second coming.

It's open to anyone and everyone I welcome anyone who would like to discuss this very important book of the bible.
I find it interesting that that most of the comments I get is I am talking a load of rubbish  or something  similar but nobody as yet has given me a better explanation for the creation account in Genesis and nobody is willing to stand up for what they believe the creation account means to them.

Love and peace
Dave

Adam was already dead when the flood happened.
Why was Nosh specifically chosen?

Noah was chosen because

Gen 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation

He was chosen because God saw that he was righteous.
