Hello @Tes Johnson,

The Lord Jesus Christ must reign until all enemies are placed under His feet, the last enemy being death itself.  Some enemies will have been destroyed, and some subjugated.  There will, as you say, be a new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  The Devil and his angels will have been destroyed, and death and the grave also destroyed. Mankind and creation will no longer be subject to vanity.  So, I can see no possibility for further rebellion.

Also God who knows the end from the beginning has foretold this, so there will be no possibility of it not coming to pass.  God will then be 'all in all'.  How wonderful that will be.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

I agree with that - I just focussed for a  second on "what happened before the Cross-over"

After Jesus now has all dominion/ power/ Jesus has all reign and authority/ after - Jesus defeated death and all powers..

I'm talking about what Paul experienced as in Ephesians 6:12 ...

And the onslaught on his ministry - after the Risen Christ ; re : Ephesians 6:12 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

My pocket in this argument is that "people only view things as they see them - through their own goggles"

It;s because people find comfort in their own surroundings - but the spiritual does not move within the same parameters..

Hi Guardian  :D
I didn't say I disagreed with that and before many have disagreed with me. That I didn't mind. Just I was misquoted and misrepresented and that got mistaken for not wanting anyone to disagree. It was also the manner of it as well, in being misunderstood.

I have over 900 posts and had written about 5 years ago about Jesus being under the power of the enemy temporarily to overturn the enemy's power.

'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.'

(Ephesians 6:12)

Hello @Tes Johnson,

Yes, we do not wrestle with flesh and blood; but we do wrestle with spiritual wickednesses who are the rulers of the darkness of this world.

We get a glimpse of 'the darkness of this world' in Eph 2:1-3:-

'And you hath He quickened,
.. who were dead in trespasses and sins;
.... Wherein in time past ye walked
...... according to the course of this world,
........ according to the prince of the power of the air,
.......... the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past
.. in the lusts of our flesh,
.... fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind;
...... and were by nature the children of wrath,
........ even as others.'

* Satan is the ruler of this age, the prince of the power of the air.
* The world rulers of this darkness oppose the purpose of the ages, and that purpose involves the very throne of the Lord.

* Our part is to put on the full armour of God and to 'stand' and 'withstand.'
* We are told to, 'submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you'.(James 4:7 )

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris
