In the physical world, there are many situations and circumstances that people are in - through no choice of their own.

Would prayer make a difference to them? Perhaps to the perception of their circumstances and perhaps in ways they wouldn't expect and could help and give peace of mind. In other ways mountains can be moved.
Think I'm seeing that, in the way things have changed recently.

That there has been much prayer for concern over the way society has been changing and certain things seem to revert it back, but with it is a great cost.

For example, commercialism was put on a pedalstool and now the values are in different things, with the essentials of life. Commercialism is brought down low, and now the frontline workers in health and social care, cleaners, dustmen, shopworkers are more appreciated at this time of pause. More people thinking of God who created this world and looking at the Bible and praying.
Every day feels like a sacred day like it's Sunday.
The air and seas are clearer and less polluted.
Many though suffering loss of job, illness or death.
The answers to prayer to change societies deterioration, came with a great cost.
That's why many of God's people wanted His promises and fulfilments for themselves as individuals, as well as for society, during the better resurrection, when times will be perfected. As it says in Hebrews 11.
