Hi
st John says

.  1Jn 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. View more

1Jn 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death

We are not good what the sin into death is we are not good so should we speculate about it.

Love and Peace
Dave

just another way out, weird and wacky attempt not to repent but to even justify = as stated unforgivable as unrepented and seemingly unrepentable - wincam

God is not unreasonable and he expects reasonable behaviour from us. He gave us a brain and the ability to use it.
So 1John18 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

say 'if we confess our sins, he will forgive us our sins.'

God does not lie, he will forgive us those sins we admit too. So it follows if one does not confess that one is a sinner then one will not be forgiven.

Who is it that will not admit they are a sinner?  Only those who hate Jesus, which are nonchristians.

It  follows that the unforgiven sin is the sin of rejectingJesus as Saviour.

the unforgivable sin has nothing to do with, unbelief in Jesus which will be forgiven as will all other sins[Matt 12:31-32] except against the Holy Spirit imho - do not grieve the Holy Spirit -with just another desperate effort not to repent and so remain unforgivable exactly as stated - wincam
