Hi Wincam
I don't have a problem tradition says Moses wrote the first five books of the bible I believe he wrote a great deal of it and much of it if not all of it concerns Christ what he has done in creation and what he would do to finish creation.
You seam to be looking at one verse and not the whole picture expand your vision.

Love and Peace
Dave

all this we know except what Jesus is trying to tell us at Ex20:1-5 about Himself that He told Moses who wrote it down[Jn5:46] but this has not and still is not accepted by Jews, Muslims and sadly Christians also - wincam

not just them but also us at Jn5:46 and adds the crucial/important bit that has been and still is blatantly ignored/rejected/unaccepted viz I am the one and only God - there are no other Gods instead we have blatant idolatry - wincam

Jesus said ,' IAM the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one come to the Father but by Me.'

That is considered unacceptable by liberals of all types and is not accepted by all nonchristians.

Exo20 And God spoke all these words:

2 ?I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 ?You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

4 ?You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

I worship the God of the Trinity in Spirit and I trust in Truth.
There are no images or idols in the church I attend no encouragement to involve those images/idols in worship and I trust that the Spirit will convict me of sin should any thing in my life start becoming an idol.

What of you and your church?
