Thus saith the Lord ?
« on: November 15, 2019, 05:37:20 PM »
many Christians know who it is that speaks as and for God in the NT but not who does so in the OT and what He has to say that is very important but unaccepted - wincam

In what way are the pronouncement of God or of his prophets unaccepted?
Are you talking about the rejection of God and his prophets by the Israelites in the devided kingdom?

Hi Wincam
Thank you for your question pretty simple really the whole Bible as we have it is the word of God and should be believed as such in the OT he spoke to us through Moses and the prophets and these last days he speaks to us in his son Jesus Christ.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God  [/color

.   16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works

Love and Peace
Dave

The he who spoke is God, either speaking directly to chosen servants or speaking through a prophet.
As to what was said about God which 'what was said about God are you querring?'

As far as I'm concerned God identifiedhimself as God, or as the Angel of the Lord.

Hi
I believe our Lord spoke to Moses as for the rest I think it was the inspiration of the holy spirit which moved them to write what the did but whatever they wrote was the word of God.

Hi Wincam
I don't have a problem tradition says Moses wrote the first five books of the bible I believe he wrote a great deal of it and much of it if not all of it concerns Christ what he has done in creation and what he would do to finish creation.
You seam to be looking at one verse and not the whole picture expand your vision.

Love and Peace
Dave
