Hi
Moving on

.24  He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn

So we don't die as such but sleep we are not conscious of anything until we are raised up either in the first of second resurrection let us strive to be in the first being raised up at the second coming of our Lord.
This of course we don't go directly to heaven when we pass on we will awake in the millennium with our king Jesus Christ our Lord how wonderful will that be.

Hi
Moving on

.    Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
27 And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, ?Have mercy on us, Son of David.? 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, ?Do you believe that I am able to do this?? They said to him, ?Yes, Lord.? 29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, ?According to your faith be it done to you.? 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, ?See that no one knows about it.? 31 But they went away and spread his fame through all that district

Again we come to the importance of faith it is the prerequisite of God hearing our prayers we must have no doubts it was according to the blind men's faith that they received there sight back.
It's strange that the two man did not follow Christ's command not to tell anyone I wonder why our Lord said unless it was fulfil this

.   He will not quarrel or cry aloud,
    nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets;
20 a bruised reed he will not break,
    and a smoldering wick he will not quench,
until he brings justice to victory;
21     and in his name the Gentiles will hope

Hi
Next section

Mat 9:37  Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Mat 9:38  Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

The harvest here is the harvest of souls and the labourers would be the twelve apostles in the first instance they were to be sent to the house of Israel to preach the good news the gospel.
in this day and age the whole world is ready for harvest so let us spread Gods word everywhere we can and what better way than on the internet so let us get out there and reap souls for God.

Hi
Next chapter Mathew 10

.  5  These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

 6  But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel

As we see from the above Christ came in the first place to save Israel it seems Israel had gone completely astray and needed bringing back to the fold and Christ was the good Sheppard who was sent to bring in the lost sheep of Israel.
Is it not wonderful how far our Lord would go to achieve this to die for them and not only for them but for us as well.

. Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

Hi
Next section

.  7  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

 8  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

 9  Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, note

 10  Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat

Here the Lord gives instructions to his apostles and the power of the Holy Spirit to perform miracles.
They are to take nothing with them they are to rely totally on God for all there needs  on a day to day basis they are to preach the gospel free of charge the good news to Israel to bring them back into the fold not only them but

   Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come

We must be close to the end of this prophecy and a good way to help it along is to get God's word out here on the net.

Hi
Next section

Mat 10:11  And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart.
Mat 10:12  As you enter the house, greet it.
Mat 10:13  And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Mat 10:14  And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.

Here Christ is giving instructions for the preaching of  the good news to Israel and as we see there seams to be an urgency about it if they don't listen to move on maybe this was because Christ knew Israel did not have long left so the idea was to get the gospel to as many as possible.
has there been the same urgency to the gentiles I think so the earth is a very big place and it has not always been easy to get around and preach the gospel its only in comparatively recent years that the gospel is reaching the remote corners of the world.

Mat 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Seams to me we must be getting to the end of this prophecy may it be soon   thy kingdom come

Hi
Next verse

Mat 10:15  Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.

Here we have the dire consequences of rejecting the gospel as we can see from this.

Gen 19:24  Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
Gen 19:25  And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
Gen 19:26  But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
Gen 19:27  And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:
Gen 19:28  And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

As we can see from the above rejecting the gospel is not a very good option or disobeying gods command as Lots wife did so let us consider carefully how we approach others with the gospel let us do our best to help them understand so they will be saved.

Hi
Moving on.

.  16  Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves

In the time this was written it was not easy to be an Apostle of a believer for that matter they were hunted by the Jews and the Romans so one had to be careful but in spite of these setbacks the word went forth.
Even today there are countries that do not welcome the gospel and there are fellow brother and sisters in Christ who are suffering persecution on a daily basis so let us pray to our heavenly father that he strengthen them with the Holy Spirit.
Not forgetting to keep putting God's word out there on line we never know who or where it might be read.

Love and Peace
Dave
