Hi
Moving on

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.   All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:7-‬8 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.7-8.KJV

This hardly needs a comment we only have to turn on the news or open a news paper and we see the truth of these words and when we consider the coronavirus which seams to be bringing the world to a halt we have to wonder how close we are to the coming of our Lord.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Matthew 24:9 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.9.KJV

Affliction can take on many forms saying you are a christian can cause people to make fun of you and verbaly attack you.
In some countries being a Christian  can mean physical abuse being put in jail.
The above say hated of all nations and this is happening in our day and age and will continue  until the above prophecy  is fulfilled.

Love and peace

Hi
Moving on

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.   And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24:10-‬11 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.10-11.KJV

The picture being painted by our Lord is pretty scary  I think many will be offended because of waiting so long they start arguing  and fighting usually  over man made theology.
Then to add to the mix we have the false prophets those adding words to scripture which can turn many away from the truth which  we have in scripture.

Hi
Moving on

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.   But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12-‬13 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.12-13.KJV

How true these words are in these time evry where we look its all about being the biggest  and the best at any cost loveing our neighbour and fellow man has no place in the world to dayits all about self.
Unfortunately  the love of many believers is growing cold because the state of the world today but we should take comfort  in the word of God who tells us that all these things must happen then our Lord will com with healing in his wings..

So let us take comfort in these words

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-‬17 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/1th.4.16-17.KJV

Come Lord Jesus Come.

Hi
Moving on

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 24:14 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.14.KJV

What a wonderful prophecy  this is when people try to deny  the word of God you can show them this verse and ask them how could anyone 2000 years ago say this and in our day this has been fulfilled.
There are very few places in the world that the gospels  have not reached so we can be sure the end is not to far away.
And let us give a big thank you to all those who have risked life and limb to make it happen.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)   Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:   Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:   Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.   And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Matthew 24:15-‬19 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.15-19.KJV

This is a difficult prophecy  I get the impression  it can relate to two different  time's  the first the sacking of Jerusalem  in AD 70 and its complete destruction this is why Jesus warns then to flee.
Then we have the abomination that causes desolation this could well be the romans in Jerusalem  and the time when Israel as a nation ceased to be.
The other possibility is the Islamic  mosque standing where Gods temple should be hard to know which or could it be both.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:   For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.   And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Matthew 24:20-‬22 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.20-22.KJV

Here our Lord continues  with his warnings  i think they are directed to Israel in the first place he also tells us the days will be shortened  for the elect's sake  I think the elect here is the apostles  and decipels.
This will be the end of Israel as a nation and they would not appear on the world stage for 2000 years a form of resurrection.
Then is this also a prophecy  of the end times which  we are facing at this time the question is where shall we run for safety the only answer is the body of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.   For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.   Behold, I have told you before.   Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Matthew 24:23-‬26 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.24.23-26.KJV

Here our Lord warns us of what is to come in I think when he says false Christs shall come I think this can be a reference to all the different denominations that have appeared over the last 2000 years the only thing we can be sure of is if we stick to the scripture we will not go far wrong.
So if we wish to find our Lord we will find him in the scriptures so take to heart the words of our Lord.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:   For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-‬8 KJV
