Hi moving on

.        24  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26  But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27  So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28  He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29  But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30  Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn

The good seed here of course is the word of God which has been sown  from the beginning the one who sowed the tares is the devil the wheat that grew up is those who have believed in God's word the tares are those who belong to satan always trying to lead the child of God astray so we always need to keep our eye on the cross of Jesus and all it means.

The servant of our Lord wanted to remove the tares but the Lord said to leave them and let them grow together I think this may mean the tares could be members of our family people we love it God took them we may stop believing.

The harvest of course is the return of Christ when he will gather together all those who belong to him and we will ever be with Christ.

The tares will be cast into the lake of fire what ever that is.

Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire

Hi
Next parable

.  31  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

32  Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof

This is an interesting little parable I believe the mustard seed is the word of God does not have to be the whole word of God can just as well be just a verse or a couple of words that lodges in a person's brain and awakens their curiosity to find out more so they start to read God's word which waters the tiny seed which begins to grow and blossom.

The words from Hebrews come to mind.

.     Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart       quote

Hi
Another interesting little parable

.

33  Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened

I believe this means the whole of creation the time before the flood the time from Noah to Christ and from Christ to the end of the millennium.
The leaven of course is the word of God started of relatively small but has grown and grown until it will fill the whole world.

Hi
Moving on

43  Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear

What a wonderful prophecy it fills the heart with so much hope it is the hope that will sustain us in this dark and dismal world so let us keep our eye on Jesus the light of the world he will give us that wonderful hope of the coming kingdom which will come according to the will of our heavenly Father.

So let us pray with all our might Thy Kingdom come thy will be done.

Hi
Next parable

.     44  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

The field is like the word of God when a person starts to dig into it and all of a sudden they find the hidden treasure that the word of God is the truth of great worth worth more than all the treasures of the world.
So let us turn our backs on the things of the world and fix our eye on our great treasure in heaven Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hi
Next little parable.

.
45  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

46  Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought

Again we see when we find the Lord the things of the world are insignificant the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and our Love for him outweighs everything the world has to offer.
The world will try to turn you away by offering all sorts of distractions they are only temporary what our Lord offers is permanent even eternal life in the paradise of God.

Hi
Moving on

.   47  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

48  Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

49  So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

50  And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

The net here is of course the word of God it will encompass the whole world and when full it will be drawn up and the angels will sort the good from the bad the good will be kept in a new body to eternal life.

The bad will be cast into the furnace of fire the thing is if they can wail and Nash their teeth they will not be killed so will this furnace of fire have a good outcome.

.   Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire

To consume would mean to take into ones self so will the result of the fiery furnaces have a good outcome a learning curve for the wicked but not a pleasant experience by any means.

Love and Peace

Hi
Moving on

Mat 13:51  Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
Mat 13:52  Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

the disciples had understood the parables but do we understand them fully ar there still things to be learnt from them ?.

So what are the treasures the scribe brings out the things new and old the new things are the teachings of our Lord the gospel the good news and the old things are of course the things in the Old testament our Lord and his apostles quote from the OT quite a lot so it has a lot to teach us.
but we need to be careful not to follow the man made traditions that had grew up around the priests of the temple but stick to the word of God.

love and peace
