The Saviour of the World

once again Christmas has come and gone and the original Christian Christmas message has not been properly formulated, taught or understood viz the Christian Christmas saviour is truly also the saviour of the world - it seems not many have truly understood or grasped how this will be fulfilled so it must be proclaimed  that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord and saviour for all non Christians have been are or will be born again from above as little Christian children who can and will simply simply believe which Jesus stated is very difficult if not impossible for adults - just as in our creation so also in our salvation we have no choice imho - wincam

Hi Wincam

thank you for your post it seams we have returned to that same subject again freewill can we choose or reject God of  our own freewill I think that freewill is importent without it we cannot love God from the heart as we should.

If God makes us love him then it is not love we jest become robots with no will of our own and God wants us t love him from the heart.

A damaged/distorted/fragmented will can falsely imagine it is free - Adam had freewill and not being any better than Adam we would also condemn ourselves - Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves and it is exactly because we do not now have freewill that Jesus knew we cannot save ourselves and so required saving and Paul tells us in ROMANS THAT WE DO NOT HAVE FREEWILL and Jesus also clearly tells us at Lk 23:34 'Father forgive them they KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO' -  we really are semi robots -  wincam

Hi Wincam
well I have searched the NT and there is no mention of freewill so how can you say Paul says we do not have freewill what dose Lk 23:34 have to do with free will it only shows Christs Love for his enemies.

Just how many churches did you listen to there Christmas sermons to be able to make this claim?

Hi Wincam
The question is do we have any biblical authority to celebrate Christmas or is it only a man made tradition for most people nowadays jest a couple of days of work.
The only thing our Lord asked us to celebrate was his death and resurrection through the Eucharist the bread and the wine the bread being his body that came down from heaven the wine his precious blood of forgiveness which cleanses us.
Does a sip of wine and a bit of bread do us any good or is it what it represents which is the body that came down from heaven the true bread on which we should feed on a daily bases.
And the blood which is true drink which represents the holy spirit which is the life giving force to the body of Christ.
