The government has promised to tackle 'aal forms of extremism'.
It does not have a workable deffinition of extremism and is seeking our views.

If you want practical Christianity to be included with those seeking to overthrow the government don't read any further.

If you have some sort of interest in justice read further.

Right you are curiose to find out more.

There is an online responce site at:-

 bit.ly/ccerespond19

That will take you to the form for you to fill in.
I strongly urge you to contack Christian Concern for there guide to respond, as this is a 'commission for countering extremism' based form and they like all commisions love weasle words.

Over one hundred views, but no one has completed the review.

You have an opertunity to speak to the government and tell them Evangelical Christianity is NOT an Extreemist believe or practice.

You have untill the 31/01/2019 to do this.

That is unless you are happy for the government to identify your sunday school as a place of indoctrination and seek to close it.

Thanks for reminding me John.
I already had the document opened from an email I'd received. However its a pretty awful piece of government gobbledegook. It's almost impossible to answer rightly.
Its like asking someone, "How many times a week should I beat my wife, once, twice or three times?"
What about "never" as an answer.

We are asked to tick all sorts of boxes and explain why. But many of the boxes are completely wrong and should never be asked.

In my view, if the government had 20 years ago just ensured the laws we already had were rightly applied, it would never have got to this awful state of affairs.

Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)
